"Five hours prior to our check in time our stay was cancelled by the host. The host had no knowledge of our booking until I inquired about access to the property on our arrival. I was then informed by the host that the accommodation was already occupied and I should not have been able to book it. Why did the host not know of our booking? Three disappointed children."

"Fantastic location - a hundred metres from the beach . We chose to stay in a chalet because of the beach location. In winter it’s quite a basic living choice - bring your own linen and towels and everything you might need for cleaning your kitchen . Possibly a little overpriced because it is one of the more basic chalets and hasn’t be3n modernised but it’s clean and that counts !"

"Very nice lodge, very comfortable beds and sofa, good location, very quiet. Great for local walks and you can walk into Tenby town, it's an easy 40 minute walk. Hot tub was lovely."

"My son and I had a lovely couple of nights at the lodge. The park was peaceful and beautiful with all the trees around. My son enjoyed using the pool and the playground. The lodge was well equipped with plenty of plates, cups, pans, cutlery etc. Bedding and towels are charged extra, which I didn’t realise until after booking, but worth it for not having the hassle of making up beds. The lodge was spotlessly clean in every room. The welcome gifts were much appreciated after our journey. ...

"Our stay was over a rainy long weekend but the lodge was perfect after returning from a wet day out. Everything is there, with some added personal touches like welcome hamper and toys for the kids. Clean and tidy. Only small issue was no WiFi in the lodge. My teenagers were not impressed but treated it as a detox. The owner said she would check with the owners of the park as they were looking to improve the signal. I would recommended booking any online visits etc before getting to the lodge....

"Hot tube out of use. Shower not working. Only bathroom was an on-suite, which meant going through my friends room every time I needed the bathroom. Had to request the DVD player. Kitchen utensils very greasy. Not a great experience at all."

"Lovely dog friendly cottage in a perfect location for us, just a minute's walk to the beach. Jon was the perfect host and his communication was excellent with us throughout the booking process, especially when we had to rebook due to flooding in the village. The cottage is pretty and well equipped and the log burner was a welcome addition at the end of a busy day. Traeth coffee shop next to the train station was dog friendly and welcoming. "the cottage itself was very nice but for a partially disabled person I found it cold and uncomfortable. the sofa was far to low and the chairs extremely hard even using a cushion."
