House is located in an amazing area and very convenient. The ocean views are amazing. Beach supplies are great! Areas of improvement include the, fans in the home were very dusty, the kitchen floor has some water damage and is buckling and closet in the master bedroom was broken. The twin beds need replacing.

Perfect Sunset Views

The unit was nicely updated and in a fantastic location - amazing sunset views from the lanai. The unit had a wonderful cross breeze during the afternoon, but AC in the living room might be helpful to accommodate the peak heat levels in the late afternoon. The unit was nicely equipped with the necessary amenities, but was missing a few small items - spatula and scissors. Overall, great experience enjoyed by our family; will rent again.

Great Condo

Clean and updated. Good location. The only downside is no AC throughout the condo. AC only in the primary bedroom. It does it warm at night. Overall I would recommend Palms unit 2206

Lovely condo!

This was a beautiful condo and was very comfortable and well apportioned. Location and the complex in general was all very nice and central to our adventures. The balcony was awesome for breakfast and watching sunsets with a beverage. The one minor criticism would be to have an AC unit for the second bedroom. This was our first time to Maui in the summer and it was much warmer at night than when we visit in the winter months. The trade winds were very nice and breezy but even having a portable rolling AC unit for that bedroom would be nice. We had a great time and were very comfortable.

Beautiful Home

The property was in the ideal location. Close to the beach as well as the best local restaurants and beaches. The open floor plan brought in tons of natural light and the scenery was breathtaking when all the windows and doors were opened. The only downside would be the small ac unit found only in the master bedroom. Making the rest of the home extremely humid and hot! Our guest who slept in the second bedroom found it difficult to sleep with temperatures reaching over 90 degrees. The property management was quick to bring us two additional box fans, which help just a tad. This place is ideal for cooler months or if additional ac unit was added to guest room.

Beautiful Condo- One major downside

This condo was very nice with a beautiful open living area looking out to the lanai. We enjoyed every part of it other than no air conditioning in the second bedroom with twin beds. There is no airflow in the room even with the windows open, so it’s so hot all day and then at night we had to move the twin mattresses in the main bedroom with air because it was too hot to sleep even with fans. All they did was blow the hot air that was in the room. So my husband and I and our boys all slept in the same room. The living and kitchen area do have much better air flow and it is bearable with no air. There definitely needs to be a mini split installed in the second bedroom though. The lania was very nice with a pretty view. We loved that part of it, but couldn’t stay again due to air conditioning.

Beautiful and Peaceful Location

The view from the terrace is stunning, especially at sunset. It was the perfect place to start the day with a cup of coffee. The beach access is within walking distance. The swimming pool at The Palms is wonderful. There is only one air conditioner and that is in the main bedroom, so it got a little hot for the kids in the secondary bedroom. Otherwise, this is a lovely property.

Family stay at The Palms

We have stayed at The Palms many times in other units and we really love this property. This was our first time at this unit. We had a great stay and the location of the unit on the property is the best. The reno they did is great. Couple of things that need a little attention is the air conditioning really doesn’t work so the master bedroom was very warm and then the rest of the unit was extremely hot made for uncomfortable sleeps for everyone. This unit has very little in regards to extras like toilet paper/paper towel, chairs for the beach were broken no umbrella or beach cooler. No lounge chairs on deck. I guess we have been spoiled as other units had all of this. We know this property just had an extensive reno and I think we were one of the first groups thru so these things should come with time. Thankyou for having us.

Excellent Condo

Very clean and nice condo on Maui! We enjoyed the layout including the open lanai and service window from kitchen. Had everything we needed. Was surprised the only AC is in the master bedroom but opening windows and doors at night cooled the space and made it comfortable.

Great Maui Homebase

This is a very spacious and private condo on a beautiful property. Easy walking distance beach access. Love the fully opening windows in the kitchen. Everyone can be connected. Wonderful 180 degree view of west Maui, even if you can't directly see the beach. One of the few condos on the property that has a very private lanai since it is the furthest West unit groupEvery dish, utensil, appliance you need is available. The recent remodel is very well done. Both bathrooms and kitchen are great. There is only AC in the master. Would be nice to have AC in the main room, but fans help move air around. I would definitely recommend this property for 4 people, but easily could accommodate 6. Loved that beach chairs and towels were provided. Super helpful. Was great to come home from a long day, cook dinner and relax, enjoy the sunset, and watch the night sky.

Beautiful sunsets and location!

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful quiet end unit, and evenings on the spacious lanai with Maui sunrises and sunsets. Loved the proximity to Wailea beach and shopping and restaurants close by!

Good and Bad

Great location, beautiful views and specious! I always feel bad saying anything negative but this maybe important to some people, especially those sensitive to smell. The unit is extra outdated and is in need of some upgrades, the place has a fishy smell (I think it’s embedded in the old carpet) we spent significant amount on air fresheners but the smell only got mildly better. Only one room has AC so it didn’t help with the smell and air circulation. I visit Maui 3-4 times a year and I will not be staying in this unit again.
