"Sandy Paws" is sure to be a favorite for your annual OBX vacation! Sandy Paws features a great semi-oceanfront locations with great sunrise views. There is a refreshing private pool that will please everyone! The home features a family friendly layout that provides privacy along with an open feeling for family gatherings. To make your stay even more enjoyable there is an elevator at the home as well. When it comes to choose a home for you vacation, this one is an excellent choice for making memories that are sure to last a long time!

Lower Level: Queen Master Bedroom with TV. Recreation Room with foosball, couch and TV. Washer and Dryer Area. Access to Swimming Pool, Hot Tub and outside shower.

Mid Level: Bedroom with 2 Single Beds, TV, access to deck with Ocean Views. Queen bedroom with TV and door to deck with Ocean View, hall full bathroom and a Queen Master bedroom with TV.

Upper Level: King Master Bedroom with /TV. Half Bath. Kitchen, Dining area with seating for 14 and Living area with TV, DVD, Stereo, and Wet Bar. Slider door to deck with Ocean View.

Thanksgiving from hell

Upon arrival I notice a few things that was damaged. Carpet has so many pet stains from the time you enter the first floor going all the way up the third floor stairs. Hole in the ceiling. Bottom of the couch coming undone. Scratches on the door and door frames. Headboard and mattresses need to be replaced. Stove and oven was dirty and didn’t work when it was time to cook Thanksgiving dinner. Called emergency maintenance no response sent messages to the office no response til after the fact. Grill was dirty outside. Sand in the tubs and rugs wasn’t washed in the bathrooms. Whole kitchen had to be cleaned in order to utilize. No decent pots to cook. Had to drive 4 hours back home to cook thanksgiving dinner and drive back. House cleaners tried to come before we was out at 8:30 am. Great space for families. House need a little more TLC.

The house was great until the morning before we left and smoke alarms started going off. After callling the office the tech came out and changed a few alarms, but should have changed all because as the day progressed they would occaionally go off and later on in the night it was every hour -we had quick ones ringing. Yes I called again later and they claimed it was the humidity but we noticed that a few of the alarms like the room with the twin beds the alarm had a red light on it. I know it rained and we had wet clothing around from the beach and pool all week but if that was the case, the "humidity" would have set them off earlier. You should post the weight limit on the elevator. sometimes when loading and unloading for the trip and having some people with some weight on them were kinda concerned about using it

A home away from home!

We loved staying at Sandy Paws! The property was clean except for the carpet areas (it had some pet urine spots), in my opinion no beach house should have carpet to make any clean up easier. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pots/pans and plates/bowls. All my guests loved the elevator feature to use to bring their stuff up and down! When we contacted the realty to fix a few things upon our arrival, they were very quick. The location was PERFECT and we honestly would love to stay here again!

Thanksgiving Fun

The house was very clean and a great location for our families Thanksgiving week. Plenty of room. Great location for shopping, food, and beach adventures. We had our meal catered by Kelly’s. (very good 👍 ) The dog-friendly house was clean. Taking our dog out for potty breaks had to be a walk down the street because around the house is not safe with prickly bushes and burrows that got stuck in the fur. The game table and refrigerator in the kitchen could be updated soon. The kitchen table needs a new table cloth. We wanted to change it out for them but it was stuck to the top. The game room couch was missing a mattress. House had a highchair and Pack N Play. We will bring a dog gate next time to keep the dog upstairs. I would recommend this house and stay again. We enjoyed our stay.

Great view of the ocean!!!

Our family enjoyed their stay here. Few minor details that property manager took care quickly. The bedding in the queen suite on lower level (1st) needs to be replaced.
