We loved the location and decor and amenities at this property. Just a few minor hiccups with cleanliness of the unit and maintenance issues. The ice maker quit upon arrival, the air/furnace filter was in need of a change as we suffer from allergies and filter was obviously in need of the change. The Halle bathtub drain was clogged and my 11 year old tried to troubleshoot the issue, lol, and she told me about it and it was so full of hair, it did not appear to be a drain pipe present, One visit from a “waterbug” or roach as I see it that snuck under the entry door. The entry door lacks a deadbolt and has too much gap/play which may facilitate unwanted visitors bugs or otherwise. Floors appeared clean but I always take a paper towel and wipe at the base of the toilets and was surprised at the black and “other” color that came up on the paper towel.
That being said, Kees management addressed the furnace and drain issue right away. They are extremely courteous and professional. Great to deal with. I do believe it was a one off or situation that their cleaning/changeover company was not doing the full cleaning detail that one should expect. Also I did a touch up vacuuming mid-stay to get some sand we dragged in and the poor vacuum was so full of debris It was not very effective until I dumped it. There was no kitchen trash bag I. The can and when I moved the van to add our trash bag there were crumbs and peanuts behind the can. We do not eat peanuts. Lack of quality cleaning crew in my opinion and no fault of Kees Property management. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the condo facility was great and location was perfect for us. I would just advise Kees to audit their cleaning company more.
