“I just needed a home base and place to sleep, so I didn’t use the kitchen or any of the other amenities. It was very clean and’s w best and the bed was comfortable. The noise of the L might bother some but I’d just gotten off a 52 hr train ride. It sounded like I was still on the train so no bother. I was disturbed by the noise of the people overhead when I was desperately trying to sleep before my early departure, but I doubt my hosts have any control over that. ”

“The apartment was clean and spacious. The host communicated quickly. The location is good and close enough to public transportation if needed. It is a basement apartment and the upstairs neighbors can be heard walking around and sometimes talking. I had a car while staying and street parking is free but scarce. I visit Chicago often so I’m familiar with this issue but something to consider if you have a car. ”

“We had an amazing stay. The duplex was very spacious with lots of room to hang out with our group of 5. The decor and vibes of the unit were amazing! The full kitchen was also lovely. We had some issues with the plumbing in the unit, especially with the upstairs shower water pressure. This has been discussed with the host, and they said they would be working with the team to fix it. I appreciated the quick communication from the host, and they were very helpful during our stay. “Place was as listed. Good location, nice balance of being central but in a quiet building and street. The bathroom could have been cleaner and the furniture was not very comfortable. The building itself was unlocked at all times, which would have worried me more if the neighborhood wasn’t pretty family friendly and had people walking around. ”
