Riding on Dreams

The gang arrived Friday with apprehension for the Gran Fondo the following day. Seamless checkin, a great meal and comfy beds welcomed us to one of Kimberley’s best spots. Riding, hot tubbing and swimming pool soothed sore muscles and happy souls. A fabulous stay.

Golf stay

The property was excellent. The hot tub was a hit. Had everything we required. Very enjoyable and the group commented how good it was. They are considering bringing their families.

Wonderful chalet with some idiosyncrasies..

The chalet is well outfitted with furnishings and high quality bedding. There are a couple of quirks: 1) The master bedroom does not have an ensuite bathroom -- it is shared with the bathroom on the main floor. 2) At the time of our stay, there was not cable TV service installed (apparently the owners are considering this in future). The TV will interface to video streaming which will work for MS and Android devices (not Apple) if you are tech-savvy to set up the interface. However, the wireless internet had limited bandwidth which caused poor audio quality and occasional video break-up.

Great Place

The stay overall was great.I would stay here again and recommend to friends. There are a couple maintenance issues that should be addressed: 1. the toilet flushers were not very user friendly especially for kids and older adults. Hard to press down and sometime didn't work. 2. the bath tub drains could also use a cleaning out. There's nothing worse than taking a shower and the water is filling the tub faster than it can drain. 3. install a light out by the hot tub for safety reasons as the stairs down from the upper deck are steeper than normal and the lower deck gets pretty icy. Hard to see were you going in the dark.
