I really enjoyed staying at the Larix. The rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. In the lobby there is a snack and tea/coffee station. There is also a common lounge area with beautiful hardwood floors, a high ceiling and a fireplace. The staff were friendly and I found the location ideal as it was next to the town plaza and restaurants, and of course the ski hill and trails are a few minute drive away. Also the breakfast was great.

In Kimberley for concert at Studio 64. This hotel is lovely. We were greeted right away. Has dining and breakfast. We did not dine there although menus looked great. Breakfast was included with stay. Nice selection. Room was very clean. No cable tv if you require however TV apps were available. Nice little coffee bar with access to coffee cookies, microwave and fridge. Rooms do have this.

We love staying at the Larix. Unique wonderfully-designed interior spaces, such a lovely place to spend time. Fabulous breakfast, friendly helpful staff, short walk to downtown, close to great skiing and trails. We will be back again!

I woukd stay here again it’s a Very nice unique hotel in a great location. My only issue would be the hotel is dog friendly and they don’t charge which is nice but if your dog barkes a few times during the day you will get harassed with phone calls and questioned everytime you enter the hotel. I would say it’s more dog intolerant rather than dog friendly.

Cozy hotel with lobby fireplace in great location to downtown and the most helpful staff. It was nice to have Christmas decor up still after Dec 25. Food was pretty good as well.

We loved this hotel! The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were fantastic and made every effort to make our stay wonderful. We loved the decor of the hotel as it suited the building and kept with the ski town vibe without playing into the mountain cliches of "The Mountains are Calling and I must go" decor that seems to be at every other hotel in the mountains. We also enjoyed the cedar sauna and breakfast. Our 3 night stay was nearly perfect but unfortunately I am not sure we will return. Upon check in I found a piece of dog food in our room, not a big deal as our room was very clean. I asked the front desk if we were in a pet friendly room. She replied that the entire hotel is dog friendly. We love dogs; however, I am allergic to some breeds. The website does say pet friendly but when I booked I never booked a pet friendly room. It never crossed my mind that every room was pet friendly. Guest services did offer to come vacuum the room again but I didn't feel it was necessary as the room was clean. Unfortunately, pet dander gets deep into carpet and bedding and based on my puffy eyes each morning the previous residents most likely let little scruffy sleep on the bed with them. If the Larix ever decides to make some of their 20 rooms not pet-friendly we will definitely be back. It is a special place for those people who don't have allergies.
