"Nice bed and mattress, large room with nice furniture, and the included breakfast had a nice selection and was pretty tasty. Staff sorted early check in to let me change for a wedding, no issues. Free parking."

"Wonderful stay in Lucky’s Stable with my husband and spaniel. Everything was immaculately clean. The secure garden and boot room area were great with the dog. And the garden seating and hot tub were fabulous when the sun came out. We also enjoyed an open fire one chilly evening as we don’t have one at home. Beach, Arundel and other places to visit less than 30mins drive and lovely walks on your door step! Hope to visit again soon!"

"Lovely place to stay, the rooms are clean and tidy, and the ones in the courtyard are quite modern. The site is accessible and there is plenty of parking available. All the staff were lovely, but the young man that did our meet and greet was so helpful. Tea, coffee and water are provided in the rooms, and oat milk cartons, which pleased my wife she normally has to request this. The bar has a good selection of beers, including real ales and is used by a lot of the locals, so always a good sign. Without doubt the food at the site is some of the best pub food I have ever eaten, if its available I would highly recommend the Comfit Belly of Pork. The next time we stay we will have to ensure the Pizza Oven in the garden area is available, as I would love to try their Pizzas!"

"A good budget stay very near Chichester. Bedrooms and bathrooms very clean, cooked breakfast delicious. The pub had a wonderful social feeling in the evenings with sea shantys being sung on the first night and a quiz the second. We recieved a warm welcome. "

"Although it is a beautiful big house I felt that for the price paid it lacked some refinements, i.e (1) there were no bedside table lamps in four of the bedrooms (2) the bedding was inferior as the quilts on the double beds were wafer thin (3) the fan in the family bathroom was very noisy so had to turn it off (4) there were no coffee/side tables in the lounge to put your drinks on (5) there was no wardrobe/hanging space for clothes in one of the en-suite bedrooms (6) Sink plug doesn’t work in kitchen sink BUT apart from these few gripes, which I hope is constructive criticism for you, we had a really lovely time celebrating my son’s 40th birthday and the house was very welcoming and in a good location. I would recommend it with the above changes. Many thanks."

"The cottage was a very conveniently located stay and provided the space for us, a family with 2 children. The space was large enough for us all with a decent sized kitchen space and comfortable bedrooms. The parking is plentiful and finding the place easy. entrance was also straight forward. The house was well equipped in the most part and there was plenty of items to help with meal prep etc. although we did feel a few extra kitchen items would have been useful to aid the stay, in particular and extra oven shelf as there is only one, we felt like there was one missing, and also there were no dishwasher tablets which was disappointing. The bedrooms were comfortable and having two separate bathrooms also beneficial with plenty of hot water. The sitting room was spacious and it was nice having the ease of access to the garden. The TV while not really for us but for the kids was an older design and would benefit from being upgraded. The location is great with easy access into Chichester and then into the South Downs. We enjoyed the stay and would recommend it."
