Glamping Shepherds Hut - Stunning Views - 2 minutes to the Beach

Here at Hunstanton Glamping with mYminiBreak, we have a range of dog-friendly accommodations for you to enjoy a relaxed stay right by the beach with your four-legged friend. We were once a working dairy farm, during our renovation from farm to holiday resort we maintained our country farm feel not only in the interior decoration of our accommodation but in our laid-back atmosphere. We have strived to create an environment for relaxation and getting back to nature, our location is dropped down from the road, giving us some protection from the sea breeze, keeping us from being overlooked and giving us a sense of being far from the hustle and bustle of local life. Our best features are our close Proximity to the Beach & Norfolk Coast Path, Great local walking Routes, Local dog-friendly shops, pubs & restaurants and our Rural Location that is also close to HunstantonOur Glamping Shepherds Huts are chic and cosy with solid beds, bistro breakfast tables and country-style decoration, they make for a very romantic getaway with views from the door overlooking the marshes and an outside fire pit & BBQ. Glamping is a great way of getting back to nature, with a luxurious twist, our Shepherds Huts are of also course dog friendly. Facilities are shared with the campsite and consist of 6 toilets with wash basins and plug sockets, 4 unisex showers, 2 inside and 2 outside. Glampers also benefit from the use of a kitchen just for them that includes a kettle, toaster and microwave. We are surrounded by countryside, great walks, nature reserves and great places to visit, onsite we have views out over the marshes and vast open skies, we are the perfect spot to light up a campfire or a BBQ and watch nature at its best while stargazing together with friends and family. Our campsite is fire-friendly, our Glamping accommodations come with their own braziers and the Cottage & B&B come with a communal fire pit & BBQ, so everyone can get outside and back to nature, keeping their toes toasty. Our back-to-basic facilities and eco-friendly approach to camping means that you get to camp knowing you are helping the local environment. Our campsite allows you to enjoy nature at its best, with a friendly atmosphere. We are campfire friendly, in the evening within our peaceful resort you will often spot bats and birds of prey crossing the skies overhead. When the sun goes down the stars come out and what a sight it is, with our dark skies and little light pollution, you will see constellations you've never seen before. The Norfolk Coast is a very dog-friendly place to visit, with many establishments allowing dogs and providing water for them. Many of our beaches allow dogs all year round, with a few having restrictions from Easter to Halloween. Our nearby beaches are; Heacham - South and North Beach, with no restrictions. Snettisham, no restrictions. Hunstanton, summer restrictions - Old Hunstanton Beach no restrictions. Holme-next-the-sea, no restrictions. Thornham, no restrictions. There are so many walks, places to visit and historical landmarks, with water sports, cultural events and great independent shops and eateries, there really IS something for everyone.

Perfect location
Cute little hut in the best location. Very peaceful. Great host. Only recommendation would be for the owners dog poop to be picked up (in their separate garden, but still visible & where the chickens walk about).

Travelled with family
enjoyed the inside of the hut. comfortable bed. good seating. good parking. however, loads of inconsistencies which meant poor overall experience. i emailed the owner on 12 Aug. No response. When speaking to them on 15 Aug, they said they received the email but did not respond because although my email checked out, there was no reservation number but they did not ask for it. it is advertised as "2 minutes from the beach" but does not say it's 2 minutes by car and about 5-10 minutes by foot, depending on mobility/fitness. breakfast options are inconsistent (we had cereal and no fruit or yoghurt on day 1; 2 pieces of fruit on day 2; 2 pieces of fruit and yoghurt on day 3 but only 3 slices of bread rather than 4 as in previous days). advert says "fresh bread" - it's just processed commercial bread. advert says "ecofriendly" and "eco minded" - everything is plastic, inside and outside, including most packaging for breakfast. the outside of the property looks unkept and is next to a huge depot that blocks both sunrise and sunset view. in addition, the place is next to what can only be described as a junk yard full of piled items in various stages of rust / disrepair. although it could be a quiet location, there are cars coming in and out, machines some sort of drilling) and the proximity with the fire pits makes it impossible to either dry clothes and towels used at the beach or keep windows open. entrance to property has steps, not clear. all in all, would not use again.
