Amazing place to stay, very spacious and there were 8 of us in the lodge. Everything we needed and it was very clean, quiet and a peaceful location. Would definitely stay here again with the family. We all loved it!!

Amazing time spent with family

Beautiful bungalow with all the necessities included. Well maintained and clean property with access to water sport at the lakeside but we didn’t have time for it. There is a little pub at the entrance and a good size playground which my little ones go and play everyday.It was an enjoyable stay and WiFi was available which was helpful as signal was quite poor around the house.

Lovely lodge

The lodge has plenty of space and is really well equipped. The location is lovely, and nice and quiet! We didn’t use the cafe/bar on site but it looked popular. Perfect place to explore the Norfolk area.

Overall the property met our needs very well. The kitchen had a good supply of everything and the cooking facilities were good. Couple of things to mention. There was one fan in one of the bedrooms and could have done with fans in the other bedrooms as was very hot. Also the back bedrooms need proper curtains, not voils as far too light in the mornings. The front bedrooms were fine as had blinds. Needed to wear eye mask in the back bedrooms.

A welcome note would be appreciated

We arrived to find no wifi, two TVs on the blink and no means of contacting the owner. Since vrbo route all messages through their website and don't give you the owner's contact number you then can't send a message without a signal. Otherwise it was just what we wanted.

Spacious and Spotless

We were a family group of 7 aged between 5 and 71 years. Property was spotless and well equipped, plenty of kitchen utensils, crockery and cutlery. Laundry facilities were great and lovely comfy beds. Outside tables and chairs were good. Great location for exploring Norfolk. The sea at Heacham was lovely and warm and we found river swimming just down the road near Pentney Abbey. Really peaceful site with a lovely lake to walk alongside. We had fun watching the hedgehog visit the garden, bats flying round at night and spotted some meteors in the sky. Thanks Yolanda for a lovely welcome. The only things we felt would have been useful were a few more pegs and a shaver socket.

Excellent place to stay

Very well equipped had everything we needed. Very comfortable stay had by us all would book again. Communication with owner was excellent very nice couple. Nice little cafe and bar on site and everyone was friendly ☺️
