「This was not the "Hideaway" advertised. The host's teenage son had a bday party complete with airguns and plenty of teens screaming and running around the property. It was loud and triggering and NOT AT ALL the peaceful experience that was advertised. The noise stopped at 10 pm - apparently the start of 'Quiet Hours.' 「Lake side cabin with a pontoon. Great location, very quiet with birdsong. Some deer wandered past on our last morning.
All the amenities you need to stay comfortably and short drive to shops for groceries.
With large suitcases stairs could be an issue but we managed fine.
Very good washer and drier if you are mid trip!

「Excellent location. Very easy to get walk to places to eat and shop. The Rail Trail was great for brisk walks and it’s right next to the house. The property was very clean and reasonably well furnished. It really fit our purpose and we’d recommend it if your travels take you to Lincolnton.」
