“Stayed here for 4 nights. The house was well equipped and very clean. Communication with host was great. A lovely gesture by the host leaving a bottle of prosecco and box of fudge. Very close to the beachfront, which was great as parents are almost 90 years old. Didn't realise the caravan park was directly in front which was our main view, small view of the sea could be seen from balcony. “Pipers Cottage was perfect for us - 8 people (4 adults and 4 children) and the accommodation was so well suited to our needs. The beds were super comfortable - we all slept soundly each night in our bedrooms and the downstairs was also very spacious. But the highlight was the use of the boat and kayaks when the tide came in the Creek. Rob and Sian (the owners) were so kind and thoughtful during our stay and even offered us a free extra night at the end of our week long rental and a late checkout……

“Lovely accommodation. Clean. Comfy beds. Well stocked with crockery, towels, games (great for variable British weather), beautiful gardens. Only down side was cooking equipment non-stick frying pans were in poor condition so could no use, and cooking knives needed sharpening (however fortunately sharpener on site). Laundry also machine not in the accommodation and required additional payment to use which didn't appear clear on info. Despite these minor easy to rectify issues it's a fantastic……

“We loved staying at Coombe Down. A master class in interior design and functionality, it has all the mod-cons and is really well thought through. Only slight downside is it is located on a main road so one of the double rooms and the single can be a little noisy with the windows open but we soon adjusted. All other bedrooms were quiet enough that you could really only hear the sheep baaing. The views from the patio are breathtaking and the location is good if you don’t mind a 20 minute walk into……

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Iris Cottage with its beautiful terrace surrounded by pretty flowers leading to the field beyond. Lovely walks straight from the door. The cottage itself is comfortable and well equipped. Both showers are hot and powerful, beds are comfortable.We made use of all the sites amenities especially the swimming pool, tennis court and snooker room. Dartmouth is within easy reach, we particularly enjoyed trip on steam train.We would definitely stay again.”

“Just occasionally we come across a property that exceeds all our expectations. Internally every facility was provided, well furnished throughout in a very stylish manner. Both the kitchen and bathroom were modern and well maintained, making our stay extremely comfortable. The big big plus are the views from the lounge and garden both provided a breathtaking outlook along the coast toward Burgh Island and giving beautiful land and seascapes plus the most fantastic sunsets.
