Two issues: 1. I was shaken down for a $100 damage deposit. The lady at the desk was openly disappointed that I showed up to reclaim my deposit. 2. Sheets and pillow cases had widespread yellow staining. I ended up sleeping in my sleeping bag with my own pillow.

Clean and convenient

Very quiet and convenient location. Hotel was your usual motel 6. Clean and easy parking. Only bad thing I could say was walls were pretty thin so could hear a lot of other visitors when parking and walking by my room. But other than that it was quiet

friendly and family owned

Hotel was conveniently near a freeway exit yet off the road and away from the noise. The bedding was new and clean and the pillows were comfortable. The owner was friendly and welcoming.

The motel has been freshened up with fresh paint and flooring, but the plumbing fixtures and electrical outlets are showing their age. Overall this is a clean no-frills place that is fairly remote, albeit easy to get to from I-75 and about 30 minutes from downtown Knoxville. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and we appreciate the no extra charge pet-friendly policy.

Great Motel!!

Great motel! Very clean room, great bed and TV. Traveling with my dog, was not charged extra for having a dog. Staff was friendly. Will stay there again..

We were happy with our stay.

This motel is located in a fairly remote area. Nice area in back to walk the dog. I was supposed have stayed free because of hotel.coms by 10 and get one free rewards policy but I got charged any way but the owner went out of his way to refund the charged after we talked. Staff all very friendly. Well maintained motel. Washer and dryer worked well as well as the ice machine.

Good value if you just need to sleep

The staff was friendly and check in/out was fast. The room was clean and spacious. The motel is convenient, easy/on/off, to the interstate but there is no food at the exit. The upside to this is that the area is quiet.

Great Experience!

Great stay! Wonderful price, clean basic room, comfortable. We called ahead about a week before our stay to make sure we could have a ground floor room because of a handicap person traveling with us. They not only assured that, but made sure we had the first two rooms next to office and made sure they were cleaned and ready early for whatever our arrival time might be. The people at the front desk remembered talking to me. I usually don’t sleep well in a hotel bed, but I slept like a log. This exit doesn’t have much there, but don’t let that stop you from staying there. It’s quiet and easy access to I-40 to wherever you might be going.

a smell so bad you can taste it.

smelled so bad we left after 45 minutes. i could TASTE the smell until i showered and brushed my teeth at the next hotel we stopped at. i’ve never checked out of a hotel without staying at least for a nap on a road trip, have stayed at plentyof roadside motels. the woman behind the best was a gem, unfortunately for future guests it was her last day. she tried to give us another room but we agreed it smelled even worse in there than the first room. the rooms smelled like wet ashtray and moldy mop water. i will definitely be calling to get my money back.
