"Good for family (2 adults, 4 kids). Good location, 30 minute walk or 10-15 minute bus ride to the city centre. Clean apartment, some initial struggle with the front door key ‘technique’ but the video was helpful, could’ve done with a few more kitchen utensils / oven trays for self catering. Overall good, would stay again. "

"5 of us stayed here Monday to Thursday, we were all very impressed with the cottage, and the views around it were spectacular. There was everything you could need for a stay here. The fishing lake, just a few yards from the cottage was beautiful, even if you don't fish, was lovely to walk around. The town of Linlithgow was just a couple of miles away, with an historical palace to visit, good rail links to Edinburgh and Glasgow and good restaurants and shops. I would highly recommend these...

"Location excellent. And, photos accurately show current condition. The manager/owner and I have had a constructive dialogue which I hope will improve his property, specifically, buying new mattresses (as the current ones are soft and sinking), adding hangers to the wardrobe, adding hooks for damp towels to hang, and, fixing the leak from the bathroom that resulted in damp conditions in the larger of the two bedrooms. Manager/owner was responsive to my concerns and cooperative. "

Ideally located for exploring the Loch Leven heritage trail and the Loch Leven RSPB visitor centre and a great base for exploring the surrounding historic towns and villages. The host was very welcoming and friendly and the welcome hamper was a thoughtful addition. We thoroughly enjoyed our weeks stay here."

"We wanted to take our parents back to an area we love with fond memories and that of course was Fife. We needed a cottage big enough for four, spacious and all the essentials. Sleeping six, we found it in Kilconquhar, a short throw from Elie, Anstruther, even St Andrews and yet peaceful enough to sit on a night and read a book. Two bathrooms/toilets, a dining area more than adequate and of course a big enough kitchen to practice ones favourite pastime! What was there not to like?"

It's super clean and quiet (though the upstairs neighbor can be loud, bring earplugs), has all the amenities you need, the wee garden is beautiful (such a restful oasis in the midst of a bustling city!), and it's extremely conveniently located close to all the major sights, bus tours, shopping, parks... The advert did not make it clear that the cottage is next to a road of fast flowing traffic, and that parking is next to the road, which is dangerous for getting a dog from the car to the cottage. There are no dog walks nearby. The inclusion of the hot tub drew us in, but we were not going to pay an extra £100 to use it. Those sleeping in the double room found the room too hot, and noisy with passing traffic. It was impossible to use Netflix. On...

"I love the ApartHotel and will use it again and will recommend enthusiastically. I did have an odor in the room upon check in and they did move me. Also, they weren’t able to provide a paper copy of my receipt, which I would have preferred to recoup the VaT I paid. Hopefully, they emailed me it - but I still need a paper copy.
