WaveHi! is a beautiful, luxury condo located just steps to the beach! Our condo is on the 3rd floor with fantastic expansive views of the Atlantic ocean beach and dunes. Our ocean front deck is the perfect spot to watch the sunrise over the Atlantic surf, wave hi to the dolphins at play and pelicans flying by or to idle the day away. Bring your binoculars or use ours for close ups of the dolphins, pelicans, loons, sandpipers, seagulls etc. We have completely renovated the unit making it one of the brand new interiors in the complex.

WaveHi! offers a master bedroom with a queen-sized bed, brand new two full baths (super convenient for a family), brand new comfortable full-sized sofa bed, hallway twin XL reading nook/berth bed, new fully appointed stainless and Silestone kitchen, two flat screen TVs (living room and master bedroom), DVD player/movie library, free WiFi, beach chairs and umbrella, programmable coffee maker, hair dryer, iron/ironing board, new HVAC system, new convection oven, microwave, super quiet new dishwasher, stainless appliances, Keurig Coffee machine, high-end quiet ceiling fans, keyless entry system, and much more.

Please note our condo is on the third floor of a three story building with three flights of stairs and no elevator.

Note: Linens and towels are NOT included in our rental, but can be rented by guests directly with a linen rental company to help guests keep their costs down. Or guests may bring their own linens and towels. Pillows, blankets and quilts are provided.

Our beach-- only steps away from our condo -- features coastal dunes, soft creamy sand, nice surf and great beach combing. We have beach chairs and boogie boards for your use during your visit.

In addition to our beach front, our condo community has an outdoor pool (unheated), outdoor grills, basketball and tennis courts, pool side restrooms, and oceanfront showers, ocean front gazebos, and coin operated laundry facilities.

We are only a short 15 minute walk to the lovely, historical village of Duck where you can enjoy the lovely shops, buy groceries, eat at great restaurants and cafes, enjoy sound side sunset views by the bar, buy books and sip coffee at Duck Cottage, rent bikes to ride on the jogging trails, walk the sound-side boardwalk for bird watching, and rent canoes, kayaks and other water sports equipment.

Bring your binoculars or use ours to bird watch and get great close ups of dolphins in our surf. Superb viewing from our deck!

  • One of the northernmost towns along the coast in North Carolina, Duck is an idyllic town on the shores of the Currituck Sound. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Disappointing honestly, the view was excellent right on the beach, the cleanliness was stellar. The decor my wife thought was very old person like, i disagreed i thought it was nice. However, i didn't read the message from the host properly and only discovered that they didn't provide linen, towels, paper towels, soap of any kind or toilet paper until it was 1030 at night and almost everything was already closed. Ive rented over 20 VRBOs at this point and i have never come across a property that didnt at least provide towels and linen. So i managed to fly to a store to pick up soap and toilet paper at least but i had to sleep on a sleeping bag that i had thrown in the truck at the last minute and my wife and kid had to sleep on a blanket we found. Also, there isnt an elevator and its technically on the fourth floor cause the first floor starts after the first flight of steps. We dont pack light and lets just say after 7 hours of driving to run a cardio program at 10 pm at night isnt fun. Despite that i would have probably rated this place higher but upon discovering that the host couldnt even chuck us a towel or sheet after a long day of driving kind of soured the experience for all of us

We had a great time! The building was pretty cool. The area of the property is private and was not busy at all for us(September). So the building, pool and Parking did not have random people passing through/walking around, it was only people saying in the other rooms. The parking spot was marked for this room, nicely located at the end of the row, closest to building and visible from the entry door. Everything in the room was very nice, no complaints! No animal or smoke smell, no weird smells at all! 2 awesome showers. We had meals, so the oven, dishes and table were perfect. The bed was sooo comfy! The balcony view is beautiful. Close, super easy access to the beach, even with kids. Beach chairs, umbrella and toys in the storage room below. Easy check in/check out. Just read the info so there are no surprises, everything you need to know is listed. Excellent stay at an excellent place!! Thank you!

Peaceful get a way

This place was amazing and just as listed. The owner had excellent communication. Bed was very comfortable with a topper which is hard to find and there were so many extras like binoculars to watch the dolphins, plenty of paper towels and toilet paper and a great view! Perfectly relaxing!

Last year we enjoyed our week-long stay at this cozy condo so much that we booked it for twice as long this year. The location is exceptional with a beautiful view of the ocean and the calming sound of the surf. The beach is a fine one for walking and it is also an easy walk to the Sound side where there are some great restaurants, shops and views of the setting sun. The condo is very clean and comfortable making it easy to settle in quickly and feel right at home.
