Best Western Premier Suites Hotel & Spa Liverpool-Knowsley
The room is looking tired, chips out of furniture, marks, ill fitted curtains etc. The room was really hot even though the heating was off. There was also a boiler type noise all night so I am not sure if I was above the laundry room.

I was a bit disappointed especially given the marketing (that team gets 5 stars!). I thought the rooms were outdated and a little worn, the breakfast was cold and limited, the pool and gym are part of a private member facility (so busy in the evening), the food in the pub/bar was terrible (!!) and ...

The Liner Hotel
Lovely welcome at reception. Family cabin room was very spacious. Food in restaurant was great, lovely staff. Bar with pool table and great range of cocktails etc Happy hour 2 for 1 great value. Less than 5 minutes walk from Lime Street Station. Parking available too. Excellent would stay again.
