In the middle of countryside!

Well a cracking position in Cheshire, the situation is perfect..However, soap and towels have to be requested.. The rooms are a little worn and could do with a deep clean and some paint! Other than that TV, kettle & Microwave(nice touch).. A brilliant base for exploring Cheshire!

Avoid!

Absolutely awful place, run down, smelly, no way worth £60 a night! I checked in and promptly left, went down the road and got a lovely room at Hollin House Hotel for the same money.

I stayed in room 10. Comfortable bed. Shower worked well with plenty of hot water. The room has a faint musty smell like in old places. I didn’t get any towels – had to improvise. The room was old, scuff marks on the walls, Fluff and cobwebs in corners.

You'll need to manage your expectations if staying here. Its cheap & its cheap for a reason. Its not Travelodge style accommodation, but (I suspect) cheaply built and maintained block of approx 15 holiday camp type rooms in a working farm yard. I stayed in room 12 that had been recently painted & had a new carpet. Lovely hot shower, comfortable bed, working kettle. No towels supplied but i expected this from other reviews. & no breakfast despite plenty of signs saying B&B. I feel its sensibly priced for the room.

Black mold in the shower/bath, carpet was filthy, inside of door surround dirty, the hedge at the roadside of the drive was blocking the view to the right making it unsafe, very little heating.

I slept in my car should say it all

Mouldy, dirty, bathroom bin had other peoples "bathroom rubbish" in it. Stains on bedding. See photos. One of the mouldy patches was above one of the beds. Was staying as a pit stop before an early flight. Slept in my car instead.

The rooms are absolutely filthy! Carpets are crusted with dirt, sheets and bedding was stained. Pillows stank of urine. Mold in the bathroom, just absolutely shocking!!!

Almost comically bad

You don't expect luxury for £80 a night but this place is extraordinary! The indoor hallway leading to the room was strewn with wet leaves. Towels are 'on request', so we requested some and were given 3 towels one of which was filthy. The bathroom door didn't close properly so we had to listen to each other pee. And when we left this morning we were chased off the property by barking dogs. A memorable experience.

Do not stay here

A B&B that doesn't offer breakfast, towels or even a toilet roll should not be described as a B&B, even self catering with the standard of cleanliness is debatable. Chipped mugs, stained carpets, mouldy grouting, frayed carpets, blood stained pillows and pillowcases, rusty microwave, to name but a few of the major objections to why you should book here. Yes it's reasonably priced but there are still standards that should be met

No receptionist on arrival bedsheets stained photographic evidence. Duvet dirty with specs of black over. No soap gel or towels. Cistern broken. Worst accommodation We’ve stayed in.
