Supernice hotel with extraordinary vibe, loves our stay for 9 nights! The rooms could use a little love but all in all a great stay. Perfect location, very sercuveminded staff❤️ would absolutely recomend a stay here! Very Nice beach right outside! Loved it!

Spacious, traditional bungalows are linked by a boardwalk that leads to the hotel outdoor pool, dining area and beautiful Khlong Dao beach. Breakfast is good and attended by a friendly, helpful staff. The location is convenient - just a short walk to Main Street and quick access to the beach, restaurants and stores. There are many lounge chairs and tables around the pool and beach front and large trees offer a lot of shade. The area is quiet at night, and it’s lovely to wake up to the songs of birds in the morning. The lighting is a little dim at night, especially if you want to take a shower, but these are minor quibbles. Would definitely consider staying at Royal Lanta again.

Great location and stay - avoid the bar though.

We had a great stay here. For the price and location, you can’t do better on Koh Lanta! My only complaint is the beach bar - they have 2 for 1 cocktails (220 thb) and we ordered one. They were so small you could literally pour them together in one cocktail glass and that still didn’t make a Norma size drink. We complained to the staff about it, but they did not care. Last drink we had there! As long as you skip those drinks, it’s a five star property!

Koh lanta

Resort is lovely and the staff are helpful and friendly. However the rooms are a little rundown and old. The superior rooms are barely a standard room level. The cleanliness was lacking in some areas of the rooms. Like shower gel hold leaked rust and there was no black out curtains or blinds in the rooms. There was bad limescale on all crome in bathroom. However after raising some of these issues with the reception team. I have upgraded to a 2 bed villa room. Which was better bit still not perfect. The location and rest of the resort was good. Right on the beach and u could have breakfast in front of sea.

Terrible hotel

Smelled like toilet both in the room and around our “family suite”. The manager said it was because of the neighbor. The water of the pipe was turned off two evenings/nights so we could not shower of the sand from the beach as we came home from the beach. The water from the sink was brown. The please looked like it needed a renovation 20 years ago. Terrible three days there.

The Royal Lanta is a wonderful resort with friendly staff, beautiful lush green grounds and gardens and is beachfront. The breakfast was great and served at the beachside restaurant. The location was also great and walking distance to other restaurants and the main road where there were convenient stores. The vibe was calm but lively. We really enjoyed our stay there!

The grounds around the reception area had an unbearable stench of sewage. My room was at the back of the property where the grounds were in complete disrepair, with garbage, broken boards on the deck and broken pathways. The villas at the front of the property closer to the beach looked lovely from the outside and the property was better maintained there. My room was also in disrepair. The chain lock on the door was torn off and there was only a button lock on the doorknob so I had to go to reception to ask them to fix it (because there are no phones in the room) which they did quickly. The tea kettle also didn’t work, they sent a new one which also didn’t work. The walls were scuffed and dirty. The reception staff were The pool tiles were dirty. The lounge chairs by the beach which were very few so guests would put their towels out at 7 am to get a spot - they were falling apart, ripped and dirty cushions, and the staff removed the cushions at night but guests had to re-assemble them in the morning. There’s a bar/restaurant next to the beach/pool, but no service at all. Positives: reception staff are very sweet; beach location is great.

Leider sehr wenig Liegen. Bei einem Pool gab es gar keine Liegen nur 3-4 Plastikstühle. Frühstück war leider auch sehr enttäuschend. Zimmer sehr veraltet, auch die Decken nicht fleckenfrei. Personal war super freundlich und hilfsbereit! Auch die Kellner an der Poolbar wiesen immer auf Aktionen von Cocktails hin. An sich war es ein guter Aufenthalt für 4 Nächte. Jedoch die schlechte Bewertung aufgrund des sehr hohen Preises des Hotels und der Mängel die ich oben erwähnte!
