  • Villa Maliwan is a gorgeous 230 square-meter luxury pool villa located in a quiet and secured high end estate, only 800 m from Bangrak beach and about 10 minutes from bustling Fisherman’s Village as well as Chaweng and Choeng Mon beaches.
    You will be charmed by this recently completed villa (April 2016) and its contemporary design with Asian touches. It boasts 3 large bedrooms with their en-suite bathrooms, one of which having a Bali-style outdoor bathing space, and a huge living / dining area with a fully-equipped modern kitchen, which makes it an ideal choice for families or friends holidaying together.
    Villa Maliwan is nested in a peaceful and lush 1,000 square-meter tropical garden and has an exquisite view on the surrounding Bophut hills.
    It’s the perfect retreat for those who want to laze on a sun lounger by the large pristine infinity pool or have a drink in the sala overlooking it.
    The villa has all the comfort for those who still need to keep in touch with the outside world : free high-speed fiber wi-fi, satellite television, flat-screen TVs, and air-conditioning.
    Additional services are available on site including help for car rental, transfer, and babysitting services.
    The bedrooms :
    Three 25 square-meter bedrooms with king-sized beds (including a canopy bed in one of the bedrooms) and a foldable single extra bed on request. All of them have beautiful views on the pool and tropical garden.
    The living and dining area :
    A fully-equipped contemporary kitchen with a fridge and freezer, an oven, a microwave oven, and all the necessary appliances. The living area has a panoramic view on the pool and the luscious garden thanks to its huge bay windows.
    The outdoor area :
    The living room opens onto a terrace on which you can have lunch or just a drink by the pool in the shade thanks to its wooden pergola, or enjoy dinner in the cool breeze.
    There’s also a sala overlooking the pool in which you can relax or indulge a little after-lunch nap.
    Garden enthusiasts will enjoy the lush tropical garden with its profuse vegetal species including jasmine (maliwan in Thai), frangipani, banana, and mango trees.

    EXTRA FEES:
    Electricity will be charged extra at the rate of 7 Thai Bahts per unit.
    The meter will be read with you upon check-in and check-out and the bill is to be paid in Thai bahts at the end of your stay.
    A normal consumption should be about 50 units a day with reasonable use of AC and electrical appliances.

Great Villa

We had a great time at the villa, it was as advertised and Jean communicates very effectively and in a timely manner. The house has everything you need, is very comfortable and has a nice design. The property managers manage the estate very well and do a good job of keeping the property and the house clean, they are also very helpful and all the staff are very friendly. It is conveniently located near Bangrak beach (walkable but a fair distance), we rented a car and explored the island for 4 weeks. One of the rooms is separate from the main house but there was an extra pullout bed so we could have our young kids stay together in the 2nd room of the main house. Overall we had a great time, thank you Jean and Idriss! We would definitely recommend it and stay there again

Schöne Villa mit Renovierungsbedarf

Die Lage der Villa ist sehr ruhig. Wir waren dort 9 Tage. Wir hatten dort sehr schöne Tage, doch muss ich leider ein paar Sachen erwähnen, die weniger schön sind. So sollten in der Küche die Töpfe, Pfannen usw. mal wieder durch Neue ersetzt werden. Es fehlte auch an kleinen Löffel, die uns die Managerin Sunisa sofort brachte. Die Duschköpfe sollten erneuert werden, alle 3 Duschköpfe funktionierten nicht richtig, die waren total verkalkt. Auch hatte ich gleich am ersten Abend den Griff des Wasserhahns im Bad in der Hand, der offensichtlich vorher schon mit Silikon verklebt wurde. In den Steckdosen konnte man nur mit viel Glück den Stecker drin behalten.Wie gesagt, die Villa, der Pool, alles sehr schön. Die Betten sind mega bequem.Aber ich bin der Meinung, dass vielleicht mal eine Renovierung anstehen sollte. Einfach mal wieder gründlich über alles schauen. Sunisa und das Reinigungsteam waren super nett. Es hat alles vorbildlich geklappt. Wie gesagt, wir hatten sehr schöne Tage dort, es soll ja auch keine Kritik am Eingetümer sein, lediglich ein Vorschlag mal nach dem Rechten zu schauen.

Store god rom, ser at det burde blitt gjort noen oppgraderinger på badene eksempelvis dusjhoder og lys. Keyholder var kjapp og svare og ordnet det vi påpekte. Villa ligger et stykke fra strand så taxi eller scooter må en belage seg på.Vi gir oppholdet 4 av 5

Maison très sympa. En revanche en 10jrs 1seule fois le ménage. Le jardinier n est jamais venu passer la tondeuse donc herbe haute... très souvent coupures d électricité mais pas de bougies de prévues... sinon maison sympa

Perfect home away from home

Just had a great 2 weeks stay. Villa was perfect for our family of 5. Good location - would recommend hiring a car (which we had already planned in advance). We had no issues at all during our stay and Jean-Christophe was great at organising our airport transfer so it all ran smoothly. Quick tip - when booking trips (where you are picked up) in advance of your stay, ensure you note that the villa is on the dreamland Estates complex and this will avoid any issues with them finding you. Would recommend visiting the Samui Elephant Sanctuary - the work they are doing is fabulous. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Great space for a group

Was traveling with my husband and brothers-in-law so having three en suite king bedrooms was key. We each had plenty of individual space and the property offered multiple areas to gather comfortably- both in and out doors. The pool was perfect- and private. We had a fantastic time.

Great stay

We had 2 weeks at this villa and had a great time. The bedrooms are huge and perfect for 3 couples to have their own space. The pool was a perfect size for either swimming or lounging on an inflatable (or 2). There is a ‘laundry room’ with a very modern washing machine which was great to get everything washed before coming home and attempting that in UK weather! We did have a couple of issues but these things happen and what’s more important is the way they were managed which was promptly and professionally. To answer some questions we had before going, the villa is, in theory, walking distance to restaurants and beach, however, when the temperature hits 30+ it is a challenging walk. We hired a car and used Navigo (highly recommend this taxi service) which made it an easy 5-10 mins to Fisherman’s Village for around 210 baht. We had s regular supply of clean towels and beach towels, if I were to ask for anything it would be more regular cleaning (the villa was cleaned once in our 2 week stay). Thank you to Sunisa for responding so promptly.

Really nice villa and the management staff could not have been better

Really enjoyed our stay with the management team being very helpful with any issues being dealt with very speedily. However there were a couple of points which in my opinion could improve the villa stay experience and these are a/ A gardener visit once a week to tidy up all the dead leaves which are constantly falling around the pool area. b/ A few of the wardrobe doors in the bedrooms need to be realigned so that they close a lot more easily as currently some are very hard to close c/ The re- positioning of the safes in each bedroom ( all at floor level ) would make it a lot easier to access them instead of having to lay on the floor when opening/closing them. d/ Finally in view of the fact we had a power cut which lasted a couple of hours I would suggest that having a standby generator installed if possible would alleviate any possible future issues with the power supply. Overall a great experience and would recommend this villa to friends and family. Well done and high praise indeed to the site management teams attentiveness and speedy response to any issues Rgds John Carr

ile magnifique, villa superbe !

Nous étions 3 couples à loger dans cette belle villa conçue pour que chaque chambre puisse vivre indépendamment des 2 autres . Pas de promiscuité, une salle de bain-wc par chambre. La pièce principale grande et accueillante permet de se retrouver pour prendre un verre ou diner ensemble. A l’extérieur la piscine, le carbet et les transat incite au repos, aucun vis-à-vis ne risque de perturber la baignade ! Le manager de la résidence, Jean-Christophe , est au petit soin pour nous, intervenant rapidement si nécessaire. Notre séjour s'est merveilleusement passé dans cette maison et cette résidence où tout est fait pour notre bien-être .

Geweldig mooi huis in een mooie omgeving

Wij (gezin met 3 kinderen) hebben in de meivakantie van 2017 het huis voor 2 weken gehuurd. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien en ziet er erg goed uit. Naast het feit dat het mooi is, is deze ook schoon en voorzien van een enorm zwembad. En een mooie ingerichte tuin!! Het huis is gelegen in een soort villawijk met een bewaker aan de poort. Zeer aan te raden! Overigens was de service van het management daar TOP!! Het huis werd tijdig schoon gemaakt. Bij problemen of vragen stonden ze meteen klaar voor je. En alles met een glimlach!!
