I should spend time to write a review for this hotel. I was expected to stay at Le Meridien during my vacation in Koh Samui but got huge disappointed. First, airport pick up: by an old big van, very dirty and uncomfortabe, not worth for 1000 baht (about $30), compared to other hotel pick up. Second, check-in: we was waiting about 15 minutes for staff check-in without any welcome drink (that came late after we finish). Staffs was not giving any smile welcome.
Third, the room: we booked a pool suite that looked nice in pictures. In real, it was smaller than expected, just look like an normal room with an open yard for the pool. Water in there was so cold (even in summer) to stay in more than 3 minutes. The resort was nice design in a heritage style, but not practical at all. WE had to request to downgrade into a normal room with a bathtub that we can practical use it.
4th, we booked a Unlock Package that came with several benefits. But when we checked with a female staff, she inform that the package not included breakfast (but for sure included when we booked). We have to ask her to double check, then it came out that breakfast included. Unprofesional staff!!!
5th, we called to book a free shuttle to Chaweng Beach as in their program but later was call back to inform that it was fully booked (only for 10 people). It should be note by hotel that we should book early to get in that 10 people. It's a peak season so too many people stay at the hotel. they just said fully booked!
