“One night with my wife at 20 month old. Two cute rooms, very comfy bed in main room. Baby slept in other bed. Room enough in house for probably 4-5 people. Communication with owner was prompt and there were very kind. Cozy and comfy house in wholesome feeling area. Would stay again!”

“We loved our stay at Shore Acres! The property is beautiful and perfect for the kids and dog! The views of the coast were amazing and we took the short walk down to the river many times. The house is old, but very well maintained and updated. That being said, don’t expect everything to look or work perfectly. We appreciated all the linens and kitchen items, and the fun extras like the telescope and pingpong table! We will definitely stay here again when we’re in the area. ”

“Great cozy place, near a lot in Arcata. Full kitchen, relaxing living room, good bed! Was up hear for a conference, and was only blocks away, so very convenient. We also built in a few days for us, so got to see a lot in the area. Easy walk to Arcata Plaza (don't miss Jitter Bean coffee), and even closer was a great grocery store, and the Natural History Museum! We were lucky on the weather (just happened to get nice weather between 2 large storm systems), but if you pack the right clothing, you……

“the place was perfect and Aubrey was beyond wonderful and accommodating. We stayed there two different times after my mom had a stroke, with my brother coming from back east and me from southern Cal to be there and help. Everything was very up in the air and Aubrey was so helpful and amazing when we needed to extend our stay several times, always at the last minute. This is also a perfect location, walking distance to the plaza and a block from Wildberries, a great little market that is open……

“I needed to visit the area at the last minute and I really lucked out with this home. You can tell you are staying in someone’s home not a house that has been “flipped” for short term rentals. It is super cozy with high quality furnishings and the kitchen is stocked better than anywhere else I’ve stayed. It’s hard to tell from the listing but there are 3 separate rooms for sleeping. One queen bed in one room, two twin beds in another room and a futon in the tv room. I visited to help a family……

“I would step into this marvelous apartment- if I could step back in time! I was amazed at how beautiful and all the attention to detail. Perfect wall paper, Oriental carpets and so much more. A bit of a backstory. I made another reservation on VRBO and that other owner cancelled (shame on you Margo.). There I was at the last minute on graduation weekend with no where to stay. I'm not sure I even looked at the pictures of this absolute gem. Two bedrooms was all I cared about. It was……
