Horrible communication!
I booked a spot in a three-person room for two nights. Due to bad planning on my part, I discovered shortly before leaving for Hong Kong that I would be arriving after Homy Inn's check-in period ended. The day before leaving, I sent them an email stating that I would probably spend the night in the airport. To this day (6 days later), they have not replied. I waited in the airport from roughly midnight until 6 am the next morning to call the provided number, and continued to do so for the next couple of hours, to find out when their check-in period started again (the hours are not listed on their website). No one answered the phone. During this time, I also sent them a message on their Facebook page. To this day (6 days later), they have not replied. I was tired of waiting, and so I took a bus from the airport to their address. The person at the front desk told me in extremely broken English that they were security and that the receptionist wouldn't arrive until 9am. That means, despite their claim of 24 hour service, the security guard was there the entire time and IGNORED MY PHONE CALLS. This is unacceptable. I will NEVER stay with Homy Inn ever again due to the lack of communication. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Service was great! I wish I could have gotten a room in the same building but it worked out alright! I hoped there was more room in the bed but if you're 6 ft+ then you'll have troubles sleeping vertically

The room was clean, there was no disturbance from neighbours or traffic, a clean towel was provided daily and the room had it's own bathroom. They also provided a clean water cooler in the hallway, and the room had an electrical socket for charging. The bed was okay. Be aware that you get what you pay for... the room was very small but that is why the hotel is so cheap. My small complaint is the air conditioning unit was a bit loud, but if I switched it off the room was very hot (I am from UK and not used to the heat), so I didn't always sleep easily because of the noisy unit, but it didn't ruin my stay and I would recommend this hotel if you want somewhere very affordable. Be aware that this is a shared building with other residents and businesses, so look for the building address and go to floor eight to find the hotel reception desk. Hotel rooms are in apartments divided among other floors.

Good location, very near airport bus and restaurants, pubs. Room size is reasonable, bed is comfortable. However, the toilet needs to refurbish. Stains and molds. Room wall paper tearing up and signs of water stains.

The location was great. The room was clean. And it’s good to stay alone. The room no.703 fits for 1 person. It is too small for 2 persons. But it was very convenient, close to the MTR.

Good location with friendly staff, however the room conditions was really so so as you can expect for this price at a central location. Simple bed, a small combined tiolet/ bathroom that looks like those motel/ hostel single room, but it is slightly cleaner and staff is friendly.

Very Terrible but located very conveince
I reservation one room for 4 persons. When I check-in the hotel told me that room air condition is not work and book 2 separate double rooms for us. I can't change anything. The hotel gave me no choice to choose like being forced to accept the offer. The room so small, air condition not control temp, TV can not open. The hotel must be told me in advance or solve a problem before I arrived or upgrade the room for me not downgrade. I saw the room for 4 persons is so nice. This hotel it's very terrible.

Stayed for one night and no complaints. The room is tiny, the AC is loud, and the whole facility could do with a makeover, but for the price it does the job. Receptionist was friendly and super helpful. Location is great.

Firm beds in noisy downtown area and hard to find
It was hard to find, it’s located off the main road despite the address being listed as such. Run down building, loud bars all night downstairs, very noisy air conditioner and very limited English support. Staff was friendly though. Lobby is located on 8th floor, another hotel shares the building, be sure not to confuse the rooms between hotels and the 2 elevators go to different floors, so check your floor is on the available choices before your family piles in with luggage. Beds were very firm and I could not fit in the restroom easily (I’m 5’11” and 210 lbs). Very expensive for what you get.

Kinda disappointed!
We went there when the weather was so cold and there was no heater in the room. We asked the staff for the heater. She had only one which was not enough for 6 of us (3 rooms). She recommended us to turn off the air-con and gave me one more blanket which had a stain on it like she found from some other rooms that already checked out! Although the staffs were very helpful and friendly, the room was too tiny, too cold, and not that clean. :(

OK for maybe a night between flights.
Firstly staff were very friendly. No problem there. However I stay in Hong Kong a lot. And much is said about room size being small. But this boarded on ridiculous. Location is good. But I would only stay again if I am travelling solo. Because I really just need a place to sleep.

The Real Homy Inn Review
Consider this the real Homy Inn review. I was attracted by the cheap price and bright vibrant photos and even some reviews on various sites. What those photos don't tell you is this hotel is barely habitable. There's raging bars/nightlife directly across the street and people drunk-shouting at all hours of the night. Loud music booming and thumping. Like living above a night club. On one hand it is convenient if you like that sort of thing but if you're trying to get a good nights sleep so you can explore HK the next day, then I'd suggest you look elsewhere. As far as the hotel, you have to check in on the 8th floor first, then proceed down to the 6th floor where the rooms are. The elevators take FOREVER sometimes to come to the 6th floor as all the other floors of the building are occupied. One time one of the elevators even got stuck and a lady was stuck in the elevator. That almost was me. Terrifying. It's a dirty run down building. The rooms themselves were decently clean, but the shower drain was plugged up and the shower is EXTREMELY EXTREMELY tiny. I mean EXTREMELY tiny. Lets just say you cannot use the toilet like a normal person. Your nose is nearly touching the wall when you sit on it. (No exaggeration) They should reduce the price. $300 more for two weeks gets you a REAL western style large hotel only a half mile away. I should've went with that. I've attached a pic of the dirty/smelly hallways you have to walk through every time you go to room.
