Cons: Leider fehlt bei diesem Boot eine Möglichkeit, draußen zu sitzen. Es gibt keinen Steg und keine Stühle. Das ist schade, gerade bei gutem Wetter. Auf Grund der Größe schaukelt es bei Wind oder Schiffverkehr. Für das, was man bekommt, etwas sehr teuer."

"Finger weg von diesem Hausboot! Vor allem im Winter...Wir haben eine Woche auf dem Hausboot gebucht. Es fing ja alles ganz schön an. Aber dann wurde der Urlaub alles andere als erholsam. Am ersten Tag hatten wir Stromausfall. Die Sicherung ist rausgeflogen, weil durch ein nicht abgedichtetes Leck in der Spüle, Wasser in eine Steckdose lief. "The apartment is very nice. It is well furnished and very clean. Our hosts were friendly and eager to be of any assistance. The location is excellent. Only a few short blocks to the Niendorf Market where there are many shops, restaurants and the subway station. The train went directly to the convention center in 12 to 18 minutes. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. In all it is a great place to stay in Hamburg!"

"No hot water.... cold shower and cold wash, was not inclined to have breakfast thereafter. A basic response from receptionist re hot water, with no offer to compensate, left the hotel feeling unwelcomed and poor customer service For such a prestigious hotel, we expected a better experience. "Clean room and large but breakfast was absolute chaos. The space was far too small for the number of people that were there. You couldn’t move around without bumping into people or have them bump into you. I could sit without people hovering over me and the queue to go and get your own coffee was so long (as it was for the food) that I just gave up and went out for breakfast (effectively paying twice). Extremely poor breakfast experience despite the aesthetics being quite nice and at other times the communal space is very pleasant."

"After a bumpy start at another hotel that was not wheelchair accessible, we checked in at the Hamburg Marriott Hotel. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. They set us up with a nice and quiet room and provided parking right out front to ensure we could access our vehicle when we needed it. We didn't eat at the restaurant, but had drinks at the piano bar. It was very relaxing and the drinks were delicious. I highly recommend a stay at this location. It is walking (or wheelchair) distance to all the main things you want to see in the Hamburg city center. I will definitely book here first when we go back. "
