“This property was off the beaten path of a small town that has very little to offer for travelers and we were told by locals the town was unsafe. This property had great people working at the security gate. Check in was difficult and not in line with the information given to us by the host. We were told to go to the office between 9-5 to get a parking permit but security indicated a paperwork authorization was not yet received by the host. Our check in was at 4 so we had to come back and wait……

“Cooling breeze from trade winds, ocean view, plumeria flowers, rooster crow, birds singing, artwork by local artist, local neighbors, you get it all at Hina Hideaway. What you don't get is the bustle, the noise and traffic jam at Waikiki.Add to these, a well-equipped and well-stocked kitchen, a large lanai, a clean and beautifully decorated house with ocean arts, and a caring caretaker, then you have paradise. We left our heart there. Would return any time.”

“The view of the ocean was the only positive for this condo. The A/C consists of portable indoor units which are very noisy. The mattress on the bed was very thin and uncomfortable, as were the pillows. There is a lot of construction on site for building maintenance and so the parking lot is a mess. We had to park a quarter of a mile down the street. Walking to and from the car was dangerous and inconvenient, as the road is busy. The lock boxes are in a very poorly lit hallway. Other than towels,……

“We absolutely loved our stay! The view from the room is amazing and we enjoyed sitting out on the balcony. Although there aren’t any restaurants directly associated with the property we really appreciated how close and easily accessible the restaurants at the Ritz Carlton were. The beach is incredible - clean and not super crowded! Would definitely recommend staying here!”
