All ok, it is just colour scheme throughout the hotel isn’t relaxing. They can make less clutter in the rooms and especially in the ground floor level where so many clutter in front of the reception that are not unsettling when checking in or waiting.

The hotel was lovely and our room was fantastic. We loved the open air bath. Our only issue was the wifi. I wouldn't recommend using the hotel wifi if you have online business to attend to. Otherwise everything was perfect.

They don’t allow tattoos in the spa, it said nothing about this in the property description or anywhere in the booking information. Wouldn’t have stayed here if I knew that ahead of time. The room was fine but I could’ve gotten a regular hotel room cheaper somewhere else.

Convenient location and that's about it
On the plus side, hotel's conveniently located - station, bikan, shotengai all only few mins away. Decent onsen albeit a tad smallish (only 3 basins/stools) The not-so-good: no coffee/tea (why bother have a kettle then?), no closet/dresser, no balcony despite it being a 'superior double-room'.

The hotel is well located and the staff very friendly - even though little English spoken - they tried hard with the Japanese to English apps on their phones which was very nice. The breakfast was very Japanese biased - which was expected - but the TV is all Japanese as they even overspoke the English with Japanese on the only English speaking channel - CNN. With heaps of Japanese channels - they could have left one channel alone

The location is convenient. I could walk to everything I wanted to visit in Kurashiki. The decor was great. I didn’t run into any problems with the single elevator, may be because it’s off peak season. I stayed in 707 which has a Terrance and 2 queen beds, it was plenty of room. I love the separate toilet from the shower, and sink.

We have the room with an outdoor bathtub so the room is quite spacious. The bathroom is quite big and clean but the toilet is in a separate room that doesn't have a sink to wash your hands. I guessed not all the rooms are like that as my friends room is different. Our room has a big sofa that convert into a twin bed. The sofa doesn't look too clean though. The breakfast is self-served with not a lot of choices. The reception staff is very friendly and the location of the hotel is within walkable distance from the train station and the historic center.

The room was very comfortable and clean and the staff quite friendly. The room even came with a free to use cellphone if you needed it as an overseas traveler!

Conveniently located close to the station and Kurashiki Bikan Area, this Hotel provides good service. The breakfast buffet is above average and offers western and Japanese items. Unfortunately, the Hotel does not have its own parking but provides 20% discount on the parking lot across the street. The biggest negative point is the complete lack of a cupboard or drawer in the standard room. You are force to literally live from your suitcase.
