We had a great time. The place was cute. We loved piggy smalls and all of the friendly dogs. Even though it was a guest house it felt like a private experience. The shower was also cool

Quaint & Quiet Stay

The house was lovely and the fireplace was a huge plus. It was super quiet and very cozy. The only negatives were the lack of seclusion promised with the owners onsite and visible from the house. I would suggest curtains &/ or blinds to help with that.

Everything was AMAZING

Really loved the fact we could get fresh eggs out of the chicken coop every morning Fell in love with all the animals. Pig was my 😍 Giving them treats everyday was fun. We went to Costco and got carrots for the horses 🐎 It was a great place and really entertaining

Located on ranch next to homeowner. The house as described and handicap accessible which is plus for us old timers. Deer and farm animals to enjoy. Everything you need to cook but recommend if you cook bring your own spices needed. Recommend Hayes City restaurant and Whiskey Ridge restaurant. Make reservations for Whiskey Ridge for sure. Our little dog was able to run free thanks to fenced in yard. There are cockle burrows if you get in grass. Just peaceful and very enjoyable. Highly recommend staying here.

Farm Life

The guest house was roomy and clean. Nothing fancy, but it was as described. Very comfortable for my son and I. Farm animals made it a quaint and pleasant stay. Their dogs would greet us upon arrival.. We will be staying there again.

Lovely quiet setting in the trees

Very relaxing place to stay with all the comforts of home and plenty of space for my two small dogs to relax in a fenced yard and enjoy the surroundings. Property was one of the best I have stayed in. Lovely setting, big kitchen for meal prep, room To dine inside or out. Handicapped accessible shower and toilet is a nice feature and also ramp for entry. 5 minutes from the Hayes City Market which is a lovely place for a meal or cocktail. Would stay again!

Best Relaxing Getaway

We fell in love with this quaint little place located in a quiet and secluded area. Surrounded by farm animals and sheer beauty. Our boxer, Finn, loved the yard so he could roam around and he, like me, loved Miss Piggy. She was the sweetest. We had a great farm tour from Colette's son who was absolutely adorable. We were greeted in the morning by the family dogs Bolt, Pumpkin and Squeaky. I think I fell in love with Bolt.There are restaurants just down the road with our favorite being " Hays City Store". Yes it is a restaurant/bar with outdoor seating so you can bring your furry friends and the food is delicious.We will definitely stay here again next time we go back to visit our daughter. LOVED this place. Thank you Colette!!

Comfy and absolutely charming!

The positive reviews of others were spot on! We were in the area for our daughter’s graduation from Texas State and dinner in Driftwood. Although the guest house is near the main house it was still very private. We loved our animal neighbors, and the hosts’ welcoming invite to enjoy some fresh eggs during our stay just highlights their graciousness. We appreciate them sharing their property and wonderful farm critters, our two little dogs had a blast! They were obsessed with Piggy Smalls, and enjoyed visits across the fence from the hosts’ 3 dogs. We will be back! The space was perfect for us.

Amazing Stay

We loved our stay at this charming guest house, surrounded by peaceful views and frequent visits from deer and horses right outside. The serene, quiet atmosphere made it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle—couldn’t recommend it more!

Fantastic Family Weekend Getaway

Stayed over the weekend with my family. Great location, quiet and plenty of privacy. Farm animals were great for my son to see and play with. Host allowed us to take some farm fresh eggs while we stayed which was very nice for breakfast! I would definitely stay here again or recommend this location.

Texas Trip

Quiet country atmosphere and only a few miles away from sights and stores. Pluses were the full kitchen, laundry, patio and fenced in yard. It was peaceful to sit out on the patio with our two dogs secure in the fenced in yard. We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage.

We loved our stay!

We loved being out on the farm and having the space! It was easy to find. The kids LOVED the petting zoo. The house was comfortable and quaint. We have no complaints.

Perfect!

Gorgeous property, perfect for visiting central Texas. Beautiful, fully equipped guest house, super quiet and comfortable. Three delightful dogs visited us every day, and there is a friendly pig, goats, and chickens to interact with. The guest house is completely fenced off from the rest of the ranch, so privacy is ensured. Streaming TV and surprisingly good internet are included. All in all, best lodging experience I've ever experienced!

Relax in the wildflowers

This sweet farmhouse was spotlessly clean and provided a comfortable retreat for us and our old dog. We enjoyed strolling around the property and meeting the resident animals. The house is in a beautiful Hill Country setting, yet is not far from a number of good cafes, wineries, and breweries. We'd be happy to stay there again.

Peaceful farm getaway!

We came to the area for my nephew’s wedding and needed a place we could bring our dogs. We absolutely loved this beautiful farm! We enjoyed seeing the chickens, goats and even a pig in the back. The property was well kept. We so appreciated getting to stay at this lovely spot off the beaten path. We also slept so well as a nice added bonus!

Great Escape!

We enjoyed staying here. It’s just far enough away, but close enough to be convenient. The animals were just precious! We loved being able to pet Piggy and the goats. Wish we were able to stay longer.

Great mini-vacation
