This distinguished property harmoniously blends the charm of traditional Japanese architecture with all the conveniences of modern living, offering guests a unique opportunity to experience Kyoto’s cultural heritage in utmost comfort and privacy.
Situated within a prestigious historic preservation district under Kyoto’s Machiya Ordinance, Kino Residence stands gracefully among a cluster of registered tangible cultural properties. The residence features a classic gabled roof and authentic architectural elements such as wooden lattice (dekoshi) and elegant mushikomado windows, which evoke the timeless spirit of Kyoto’s storied past.
Spanning approximately 97 square meters across two floors, the house welcomes guests into a serene Japanese-style living space on the first floor, complete with a contemporary bathroom, a fully equipped modern kitchen, and a tranquil inner garden bathed in natural light. Upstairs, you will find two beautifully appointed bedrooms: one furnished with two semi-double beds and the other with two traditional futon sets, comfortably accommodating up to five guests.
