「Staff was kind」

「10pm was the cut off time for checking in. Got there right before 8pm, and had to wait almost 30 minutes outside before someone came and opened the door. Air conditioner was missing a remote to operate. Went out for dinner, and found out we didn’t have the key to come back into the property. The toilet was not working. They knew it was two of us there, and they gave us only one towel. I won’t be staying there again」

「The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised by how excellent the interior was. There are several common areas including a full kitchen and all are well maintained and well thought out. Very beautiful.」

「I have no idea how In The Wind Hostel gets good ratings. Maybe mostly men stay here and avoid the brunt of it, but as a solo female traveler, this was hands down the worst hostel experience I’ve ever had.  The owner’s behavior was unhinged. He has a scary pattern of going from 0 to 100 out of nowhere, flying off the handle, and then snapping right back to a weird 0 like nothing happened.
