“The hotel is first rate. We had balcony rooms on the second floor and they were large (almost suites) with beautiful bathrooms. The hotel was still very lush even in mid-October. The restaurant is the real gem of the property. It firmly deserves it's one Michelin star. We did have dinner there one night and though expensive it was one of the 3 best meals I have ever eaten. “Hi. I enjoyed my stay at the hotel Verlaine. The hotel is is the residential area a short walk to a public beach and a shop behind it which was great. 15 min walk from the train station. Staff were very friendly and helpful. You can hear some road noise but you are in the city. I really liked the lobby, my room and balcony. The hotel looked after my cases on my last day until my flight home. Fridge in room, cold water dispenser downstairs. A great hotel. Thank you. ”

“Housekeeping forgot to clean up one of our room and I called at 4pm and asked them to make it up in the following 30-60mins when I was out. When I back to hotel at 8pm again the room remain the same. Finally they came and clean up and didn’t leave me new slippers (I left two notes to the reception, one in the morning and remind them again when I called at 4pm for housekeeping).
