Incredible!!
I completely understand how people follow in love with the “lake life”. This vacation rental was completely perfect for our 20+ family vacation, from ages 8 to 69. More than enough room for all of us. The kids enjoyed the games and we adults enjoyed being on the water. Kitchen was well equipped & spacious. Beds were comfortable. Gathering areas were a great size . We would definitely book here again & again. Host were easy to communicate with. Thank you Nortis Nook for an incredible vacation!!!

Well stocked large home for our group of 30. Location was perfect - close to several marinas to restock or grab lunch or dinner. Also just a few minutes to the closest store. Definitely some wear and tear on a few things but nothing major. Had an issue with outlets on the island and volume on the tv in the master bedroom- mentioned something to the property manager and electrical issue fixed the next day and new tv. Excellent communication and response time. We had a blast and would for sure rent again!

Our family’s favorite!
We have tried several family vaycay on various lakes, and this by far was our favorite ! Not only was the lake beautiful, but the house was perfect. All kitchen amenities were available, plenty of space to be together (or not) for the 10 of us. The very few things we notified management about ( nothing big) they arrived almost immediately to rectify the situation. We are planning to return next year!

Perfect Retreat Stay!!
While the photos in this listing are beautiful, they don’t give you the full ambiance that goes with the overall location! We had a large group of ladies together for a church retreat. This house was PERFECT! Each bed had its clean and fresh smelling sheets folded and ready to put on the beds. This was great because I knew the sheets were clean! Everything was clean and fresh. The kitchen was loaded with all sorts of utensils you could ever need, as well as enough dishes and silverware for our entire group. The two coffee pots and the Keurig kept us caffeinated. The views from the decks - breathtakingly beautiful! It was still warm enough to take advantage of the private dock and slide! We love this location! A new favorite!!

Amazing framily vacation location!
We had an amazing time on our annual framily vacation! First time to this location and we will definitely be back! One of the most beautiful places we have been, the lake is amazing and our kids loved the nearby jumping bridge! House had typical rental wear and tear but worked perfectly for our large group!

Great water sports vacation
The house was perfect for our large group - easy to spread out and supports multiple areas to congregate in small and large groups. The kitchen was wonderful and was stocked with everything we needed to prepare and cook meals for 26 people multiple times a day. The two-level dock was a hit with the kids and made for easy docking of our boats. Although the lake was busy during prime time, we were still able to tube and ski. For those of us needing calm water, the early morning and evening times were perfect with very little traffic.

Great Family Vacation
Norris Nook is a wonderfully spacious house. We had plenty of space for our family of 30. The house has all the necessities for cooking and eating in. We spent most of our time on the decks, boys on the bottom deck, girls on the middle deck, and adults on the main deck:-) The slide on the dock was a huge hit. It is now deemed as a necessity for us when looking for future houses. The lake was very busy this week, but we enjoyed our time playing in the calm water around the dock after battling the tube in rough water! Highly recommend Norris Nook,

Great house for a large family
We had a great stay. We had a group of 20 in town for a wedding at a local state park. House was very impressive. Very cute and comfortable. Well stocked for cooking, and double appliances. Because it wasn't a busy season we managed to park all our vehicles at the house. Only 4 spots normally guaranteed and overflow is not nearby. Drive in is very hilly, narrow, and dark, but the GPS got us there fine. Check in was a breeze. Garbage pick up was delayed but our message was acknowledged quickly and problem soon remedied. Game room was nice. No one complained about wifi so must have worked well. Beds comfortable and plenty of hot water.

This is our 2nd time staying at the Norris Nook. There were 22 of us and it accommodated us all and then some. We enjoyed staying once again. What a great home in an awesome location because we had 5 boats also.

Clean and beautiful home, excellent for family reunion
Each bedroom has it's own bathroom, great for multiple families. Property is clean and maintained well. Kitchen is well stocked with cooking needs. Bring paper towels and toilet paper. Boat dock has storage with floats and tubes to relax in the lake. The lake is deep, bring a life jacket for the kiddos. We had an amazing time and the owner's hospitality was great.

Beyond great place for large group
Many comfortable spaces for lots of people and all ages. Plenty of areas to gather!! Kudos to a well stocked kitchen and lake float supply. Bring your own knives, these are dull. Lots of stairs both inside and outside (which we were aware of); however lookout for rogue nails and hold on tight to the railing during the top portion of the stairs that lean. From our experience neighbors are close and were loud.

Our large family group has stayed at Norris lake homes for a number of years, and we were very pleased with Norris Nook. The property was very clean upon arrival, pictures were accurate from website. The owners were very responsive to a few things we asked about. Parking was one of the best of the homes we have stayed at. Book for your next vacation and you won’t be disappointed.

Wonderful trip!
Our large family had a wonderful time at Norris Nook. The house I very well equipped and is well thought out! We rented two boats and had lots of fun tubing and water skiing! Can’t wait to go back!

Great Get Away
We enjoyed our family time together at the Lakehouse! The bed space and bathrooms were fabulous for a group our size, manyvv BBC enjoyed the hot tub amenities and the fishing, we were off season so the dock wasn’t there for our stay. The game room was well loved and the kitchen was fabulous. The deck was great for relaxing as well. The only downfall was the many steps to the bottom level and to the water, but that was well known before our booking I just have old knees lol. Great rental!

Beautiful home!
We absolutely loved our stay here! The house was gorgeous and the amount of space everyone had was hard to beat. Each bedroom has it’s own bathroom, which was incredible. Lots of fun amenities like cornhole, ping pong, and air hockey and lots of kitchen tools. The water levels of the lake were low, I’m guessing due to the time of the year, but other than that the area was beautiful, as well. Thank you for sharing your home! Would definitely return.

We were looking for a place that had a lot of room and could sleep many of our family members and this place had so much space for everyone to feel comfortable and it was perfect for all of us to still interact with one another as a family.
