Beautiful unobstructed view of Arenal Volcano! Secluded away from all the crowds, yet could access the hot springs at Los Lagos while staying here. Private hot tub and rain shower were also great perks!

The villa has a amazing mountain view, a hot tub with the natural water, and a fully equipped kitchen, I would recommend this to anyone who want to plan a family trip and I will definitely come back again next time.

The entire property is beautifully maintained. The huge hot tub was enjoyed by all of our party. Santiago was so helpful and met us and helped us get set up in our Villa. The views all around us were fabulous. I would recommend this property to anyone.

The view is out of this world! Amazing view of the volcano and it was the most peaceful and serene surroundings. There's nothing like sitting in a hot tub looking at a volcano. We loved the access to all the amenities of the Los Lagos resort too! We were so sad to leave, it did not disappoint. There wasn't anything we disliked, only wish we had booked 2 bedrooms because we are a family of 4.

We have traveled mmmmmany place. This property has taken our rating of the #1 spot!! Perhaps it’s just our taste, but the exquisite view overlooking the village and at the foot of the volcano or breathtaking. The serenity on that mountain is unequaled. I highly recommend it because it is an experience not just a place.

Beautiful, quiet place with plenty of room. A view of Arenal Volcano from the hot springs fed hot tub on the patio. A lot of nice amenities down the hill at Los Lagos Resort and Spa. A short drive to downtown La Fortuna and lots of good restaurants and cafes. Would definitely recommend!

Not sure it gets much better than this place in the area. Super modern, clean place with perhaps the best view in town. So much more than we expected. Host was incredibly helpful and went out of his way to make our stay comfortable and memorable.

Excellent villa and location

It's hard to imagine a better location, view, and property. Simply amazing. I travel a lot for both pleasure and business. This is one of the best places I've stayed. Santiago greeted us at the Hotel Lago entrance and we followed him by car to the villa. Be aware that it's better to have your own vehicle since the walk from the hotel to the villa is quite long and not suitable for pedestrians. Overall, this villa made our Arenal experience muy Bien!

The property looks just like it's pictured. It's an amazing view. It's nice to have access to the hotel below, but it's not really walkable. It is if you want a cardio workout, the steep climb is tough even when you're in shape. I did it once and it was a hard climb/walk. So much to do in the area and even though we were there in the rainy season we were prepared and didn't let the rain stop us.

I almost don't want to write a review because I want to keep this place a secret! It is AMAZING! The best view of the Volcano right from your villa. 'Villa Tabacon' is extremely luxurious and gorgeous. Perfect space for our family of four. Communication was great. Being able to use the facilities at Los Lagos was also a great bonus I wasn't expecting. Overall 12/10!!
