There was no hot water in the shower and barely cold water as well. In the middle of the night there was no one at the reception. When we made check out, had to wait more than half hour until someone will come to the reception. The hotel manager saw that I was upset from waiting and just was laughing at me. Very poor service and attitude.

Good breakfast nice staff. The room has water pressure issues and water from the shower has almost no pressure. Seems like they are trying to work it out. We only stayed for one night and had a good time.

La comida excelente, la pizza a la leña de lo mejor 10/10. Limpieza y comodidad en las habitaciones. El único “problema” que tuvimos fue el wifi, era intermitente y muy lento. De ahí en fuera muy buen lugar y muy cerca de las cataratas de la fortuna.

Ótimo custo benefício.

Nossa casinha azul era uma graça, sempre limpa, confortável, com bastante espaço. Café da manhã com comida típica local, mas com opção de pedir pão, panquequinhas, ovos mexidos, iogurte e frutas (abacaxi e melancia). Café para beber a vontade. Para brasileiros, sempre acostumados com café da manhã com muita variedade, talvez deixe a desejar, este ponto. Estacionamento disponível. Hotel com muita natureza, pássaros sempre por perto e localização ideal. Próximo do centro e tambem próximo do parque nacional. Recomendo bastante!

It was a quaint no frills hotel perfectly situated in a quiet area near the town on fortuno. Breakfast was delicious. We were a 6 person family and fit comfortably in their six person suite. Would come again. Thanks for a great stay. Loved all the beautiful flowers and hummingbirds in the area.

It was a joy to stay two nights so near the volcano in such a beautiful place. The cabin was roomy, clean, and comfortable, the restaurant was excellent, and the grounds (including the "nature walk" in the jungle at the rear of the property) were spectacular. The owner and staff are great people too. I would recommend this place to anyone without hesitation.

Beautiful property with sloths and little Al king trail on site. Staff was very friendly and helpful and individual cabins kept the stay quiet and a natural setting. About 5 min drive to town and restaurants, etc.

We stayed at the hotel faro arena and had a wonderful experience. The property owner was very friendly, and the entire property was exceptionally clean. The reception staff were welcoming and accommodating, making our stay even more pleasant. The value for the price we paid was excellent. I wish I had chosen to stay at Fatima Arenal instead of the Magic Mountain Hotel, and I will definitely stay here next time. Highly recommended!

We arrived early and they were very accommodating. Everyone was nice and helpful. The hotel location is fairly close to the la fortuna waterfall . We didn’t have our own car but it was easy to get around using the taxi services. Nice and quiet environment with a path to explore and encounter wildlife. We saw sloths right on the property.
