This hotel was great and the staff were extremely wonderful and helpful! It was very quiet and within walking distance of all of downtown La Fortuna. The breakfast was delicious and fresh. They greet you with a juice drink, which was so delicious.

We loved our stay at LaFortuna Lodge. The location was perfect, lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We highly recommend staying there. We will definitely come back.

Clean room, clean facility, good location, good breakfast and great staff. Many excellent restaurants in walking distance. Good deal for the price. Can Uber to major attractions except for the Arenal Volcano national park where there’s spotty Wi-Fi. Just pre-arrange with your Uber driver to pick you up afterwards.

We stayed 3 nights and this is a truly lovely little hotel - clean, comfortable, spacious room, just off the Main Street - so quiet but also central. Local tips from friendly staff were appreciated. Breakfast was good. Would recommend.

What a gem! The shared space has amazing volcano views. Very convenient location to the Main Street, only a 2min walk. Our room had a nice high ceiling. Breakfast was delicious, made to order each day and delicious. Highly recommend staying here.

Great breakfast menu, they let you add extras of whatever you’d like (eg. Extra eggs, rice, ham, etc). Staff were very friendly. The room itself was very average, clean but a bit aged. Thin walls so you can easily hear your neighbours on the hallway, doors slamming, dogs barking, etc. Air conditioning was very reliable.

Adrian welcomed and gave us several restaurant recommendations. The included breakfast was delicious. We had a great view of volcano Arenal from our room. The AC worked great, excellent water pressure in the shower. Hair dryer and toiletries provided. Unlike other hotels, there were hooks to hang your wet towel on. Located far enough away from the main drag that it was quiet at night, but close enough to walk to restaurants and shops.
