“The staff were very friendly and polite and the chef is good. The hotel is in a good location for walking and driving around Jersey. It's on a fairly busy road but heavy blinds and curtains kept our room quiet. We didn't use the outdoor pool but it must be nice in hot weather. The bedrooms could benefit from updating. There was evidence of carpets being replaced which is well overdue in some parts of the hotel. We had ivy growing through our window frame. The WiFi signal in our room was very……

“This is our 2nd time staying at De L'Etang. We like the comfortable & clean room, friendly & helpful staff, good breakfast options & delicious Greek food in the attached Taverna! Close to St Helier & bus routes. Wonderful outlook over the beach. When we next have a holiday in Jersey, we will happily book De L'Etang again.”

“Very positive experience. Arrived in the morning due to early flight time and they checked us in and said they would look after our overnight bags until our room was ready. Then within 20 minutes they actually had allocated us a room at 9.00 am in the morning. The cafe in the hotel is very good and offered good options for breakfast, general eating and drinking. Staff friendly and helpful.”

“The room was okay but did not feel like a premium room. It felt a bit tired with a few trip hazzards i.e. lamp cable plus chipped tile in bathroom needs attention. No separate shower or non slip mat. It was difficult getting in and out of the bath. Room was not made up during our stay. However Chloe was very helpful.”
