"My experience at Fairfield by Marriott San Salvador has been very disappointing. The hotel itself is well located, has good amenities, and the facilities are overall nice. Unfortunately, the service completely ruins the experience.
The staff at check in is discourteous, unfriendly, and seems unwilling to help or understand the needs of guests. Simple interactions are met with bad attitudes and lack of professionalism, which is not what you expect from a Marriott-branded property.

Also the hotel is extremely noisy. During my stay, the hotel organized karaoke events at an excessively loud volume, and the noise reached directly into the guest rooms, making it impossible to rest properly. Even outside of that, there are constant loud noises throughout the building — doors slamming, banging sounds, and poor sound insulation everywhere.
Overall, the experience has been very poor. While the location and amenities are good, the lack of customer service and the constant noise make this a place I would not choose to stay at again."
