Feels like a family run place but cooler. The facility itself is wonderful and then the staff is so helpful. Run very different that a normal hotel which makes it unique. For example, you text if you need something and no one is around. Such a beautiful property! Can’t wait to go back!

A Beautiful Property and a Great Stay
I recently stayed at La Palmilla while attending a family wedding, and overall, it was a great experience. The property is impressive, with beautiful Spanish-style architecture, well-maintained grounds, and a peaceful atmosphere. La Palmilla provided the perfect backdrop for a very special celebration, while also offering a relaxing escape from the usual hotel experience.
The only downside was the limited food options. Breakfast choices were pretty minimal, and there was no lunch service available. Given the location, having more dining options on the property would have made the stay even better.
Aside from that, I really enjoyed my time there. La Palmilla is a great property, and I'd definitely consider staying again.

Guess I wasn't prepared for what I was to find while visiting. Perhaps it was because we had all just survived a long, hot Texas summer. However, the tranquility and beauty were healing to the soul. I kept thinking, "how did I not know of this place before". I'm not even sure I want to share it with friends as I never want it to change. Thank you to the family/team whom make this oasis so special. It truly is a site for sore eyes. Peace in the valley does exist.
