We had a great time! The house's location was incredible. Having access to a kitchen and two blocks from the grocery store was excellent. I was really impressed with the gluten-free options at the grocery store. I was strangely really allergic to something inside the house. No one else in my family had the issue. Not sure what that was about!

Great Stay - Great Host!

The property is a prime location for relaxation, and quiet but easy walking access to all in-town amenities. It even has a tiny lake view on the back deck! The host was really awesome, communicative and checked in on us during our stay. The property was spotless upon check-in!

We'd stay here again!

We had an amazing stay! Such a cute little place to stay. It does say that there's AC but we couldn't figure out how to work it or turn it on. Luckily, it wasn't too hot on the days we stayed. If you come with small children, the bath drain doesn't shut but they state that online that it's shower only. So no complaints, very friendly people to work with :) We'd come stay here again!

Not impressed

The neighborhood was great! The check in was simple and then we entered the property. It had a horrible musty odor that was beyond pungent. I opened windows and doors to help but didn't come close to helping "air" it out. We settled in found other things that as a renter you would want the rental company to know so future renters didn't have any problems. Burner not working in kitchen, drain stopper in bathroom not working(two year old son takes baths), bedroom door not latching, unable to connect to wifi. The biggest problem we had was the mouse droppings found in the kitchen utensil drawer and in the dish strainer under the sink and surrounding it. We were disgusted and an email was promptly set and no response was ever received. Needless to say we were not impressed and would not rebook.

Love Madeline Island

The cottage is a lovely, cozy, conveniently located little house, perfect for our small family. Ron is delightful--responsive, polite, does everything possible to make one's stay the experience you're hoping for. Vrbo, maybe not so much. :-(

Great long weekend at Library Street Cottage!!

Very impressed with the cottage!! It was very clean & attractive. Had everything we needed. My husband, daughter & son in law had lots of space to enjoy being together & to also to spend time apart. Loved the front porch & back deck. So close to the ferry & to Madeline Island shops & attractions. Would return in a heartbeat!!

Library St Cottage

We just loved this little property so much that we booked our 2021 stay at it before checking out this year. The cottage had everything we needed, was located in the perfect place, and was so clean. We were able to walk into town but didn’t feel like the hustle and bustle was too close. We utilized the kitchen to cook three full dinners and found it well appointed. The property owners and management were very communicative and proactively reached out about safety measures being taken. Overall, one of the best VRBOs we’ve stayed at!

Perfectly cozy lodging

Stayed here with my husband and dog for a four night getaway and am extremely happy with our time here. The cottage was located about two blocks easy walk from the main strip and to many other stunning views. The house felt clean and well cared for and also accounted for Covid necessities. We would happily stay here again and again.
