"Borgo Castelrotto was everything promised. We were a family group of 17 people; ages 2 thru 85. The house accommodated all of us quite comfortably with plenty of convenient bathrooms. I am less mobile than the others so I stayed on the ground floor of the cottage which meant no stairs for me. I won't repeat what others have said but the grounds and views are beautiful, there was plenty to do for all ages including a well used ping pong table, everything was well maintained and worked, and the estate bottled wine was excellent and always available for a fair price which saved us the hassle of wine shopping. The highlight of out trip was the outstanding family dinners (8 out of 10 nights) with our own chef and server. Our host arranged this service which included grocery shopping. As to Violante, our host, I cannot say enough: she took excellent care of us but gave us our space.....Curt H."

"Most beautiful property! Staff was incredible, kind and helpful. We ate at the restaurant both nights and it was delicious. Wait staff was the best! The owner even gave us rides back to our room. It was the most peaceful feeling to be there. Spacious, clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a truly peaceful experience!"

"Our stay at Podere Cunina was everything we could have wanted in Tuscany. The sunsets were beautiful, the location had a beautiful pool, the gardens were gorgeous but the greatest part was Silvana and Giorgio and the love they have put into restoring this wonderful property from its days as a historic farm. They knew every bit about the area and were full of recommendations for things to do. One of the greatest things we did on our trip was the cooking lesson with Marcello. We learned to make Pasta, Meat Sauce, a Pork secondo dish and Tiramisu. Then the family ate it with us with some wonderful wine. They do not have a meal service on the property but the town of Buonoconvento was a 4 min drive to cafes and restaurants and a nice coop grocery store. Highly recommend "

"My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Silvana’s place in Tuscany. The grounds and apartment were immaculately clean. The views were breathtaking from everywhere on the property. The hosts were very inviting going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. By the end of our short stay they really felt like family! We also took the cooking class taught by their son which we enjoyed immensely and would recommend to anyone considering it! Do not hesitate to book this place! Would love to return in the future "

"Beautiful property with gorgeous views and plenty of space to swim and/or just relax. The apartment was charmingly Tuscan throughout and had all the necessities to enjoy your stay. The host was very responsive and connected us for wine tours in the area. Property is convenient to other local towns (Siena, and Montalcino, etc) that make fun day trips! A must go!"

"Beautiful scenery. Comfortable and clean accommodations. The owners and family members are so kind. Lots of places to hike. Wonderful pool with comfy furniture. Everything in your apartment to cook a meal. Owners respond within minutes to emails/messages. Landscaping is amazing The smells coming from the flowers is intoxicating Lots of love is evident in the care of this home. "
