「We loved our stay at Casa Escondida. The place is great, it has all the appliances and it's well equipped. The bed, as mentioned in other reviews is a bit small if you're a tall person, but it is accurate to what the listing says.To make it better, I would just suggest some curtains in the bedroom, so it's not super bright in the morning, but that was not detrimental to us. We used the Jacuzzi, the barbecue grill, the oven, and everything was clean and fully functional. The location is great....

「Our stay was excellent. Nice quiet area. Keep in mind that everything closes early around there, so make sure you have everything you need before arriving if you plan on showing up after 9pm. We arrived too late to really enjoy the property, but it would be such a nice place to stay for a longer trip. 」

「We had an amazing time」

「Nice private location. Very small cabin. Bring a propane camping stove to boil water and do some cooking. Lots or rubbish in area immediately surrounding the cabin. Could use a clean up. In a nice forested area. One tick on our clothes.」

「Worked just fine. Problems were … no soap in the bathrooms no ice in the ice box. No ice trays for the price of the unit. I feel that they should have a few more little amenities. Otherwise it was fine.」

「Cote Du Rowan- was everything we were looking for and more in a vacation. It was spacious inside, clean, artfully decorated, beautiful outdoor swimming space and view of the lake. It was all and all wonderful. Rasa and Mark (maybe Marc? :)), were welcoming and kind, but also gave us complete privacy during our stay. Very respectful and congenial. 」

「The cottage felt more like a house, and had everything we could possibly need. It was very clean and spacious, and had a cute sun room at the front. It was really quiet around the property, had amazing outdoor space with a deck/gazebo and outdoor t.v, and it was only a short walk to the beach. We would definitely recommend it!」

「Excellent location for exploring Port Dover. Close to beach, shops and restaurants. Our kids loved the bedroom nook and although it’s not a big suite, it was spacious enough to not feel cramped and gave space for everyone. Easy communication with host and no issues at check in or check out. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the area; just watch your head in the doorways!」

「The house was double booked. When we showed up to the house there was already people staying in it, and we had to scramble at 10PM to find a hotel room for 8 people. Called the owner and he advised us that he doesn't even have the house listed on VRBO. Book with caution!!!」

「We had a wonderful time at Bob and Alvina's property. We really should have booked it for longer than the weekend to truly feel like we got the most out of all the spaces and activities to do there. The space is very well taken care of and clean which was nice. They have a room with kids toys which was really nice for our little girls as well. We would definitely book here again! Thanks for the great stay and your prompt responses if I had any questions :)」
