Wonderful
Host Armando was very gracious and made sure we had everything we needed. The location is ideal, right on the bus line, travel throughout the city was very easy. Condo was very spacious and felt like home away from home. Kitchen, laundry, terrace, smart TV- with stores and eateries present as well- made for a very relaxing time in La Spezia.

This spacious and comfortable apartment is on the 5th floor of a nice building. The place was spotlessly clean for our arrival and although a little dated, everything is good. The kitchen is well equipped and the bed super-comfortable. For us, the secure parking beneath the building opposite was a plus. There are cafes and shops in the streets surrounding with supermarkets 5 minutes walk away. Many good restaurants in the main town area about 15 minutes walk. During our stay we used the train to get around the cinque terre which was really busy. Porto Venere was much nicer, with no crowds and easy to reach by car. Montemarcello and Tellaro are also nice for walking. You can easily enjoy Pisa and Lucca in one day, we took our bicycles to get around.

Good base to explore the area
We chose La Spezia as a base to explore the area. Our host was wonderful and very helpful getting us oriented with buses, ferries, and towns to visit. The apartment is very spacious and the air conditioning was an added bonus as Liguria was very hot during our visit. Good connection to the train station with the number 3 bus and a huge shopping mall a short walk if needed.

A wonderful stay
We have just finished a 4-week stay in this apartment and we had a wonderful time. Our host, Armando, met us when we arrived and showed us to the reserved parking space in a secure car park nearby - a definite bonus when parking spaces are in short supply. The apartment is very spacious and well furnished and upstairs the private sun terrace was a definite bonus, perfect for watching the sun set with a glass of wine! Within a few minutes walk there are coffee bars, a supermarket, fresh vegetable shop, pizza eat-in or takeaway and wine shop. It is only a 20-minute walk into the city centre for many more shops and a huge market, as well as a beautiful palm-lined promenade where boats can ferry you to the Cinque Terre and other local places of interest. All in all a great and memorable holiday!

Well situated family friendly apartment.
We spent a wonderful week at this lovely, well equipped, apartment. The host is super-friendly and really went the extra mile to help us. The location was ideal both for walking around La Spezia and travelling to the surrounding area including Pisa, Porto Venere and the Cinque Terre.

très plaisant
L'appartement est bien situé, calme et confortable, de plus il y a un garage fermé pour la voiture. Le propriétaire est très sympathique et prêt à donner des explications en ce qui concerne le séjour, les lieux à visiter, ou il faut prendre le bus, le train, le bateau, tout cela dans notre langue, le français. Si on rencontre un problème, on peut lui téléphoner, bref il est à l'écoute des locataires. On recommande pour visiter les Cinque Terre.

Gut ausgestattete Wohnung mit toller Terrasse
Wir wurden von unserem Gastgeber sehr herzlich empfangen und haben viele gute Tipps für Ausflüge erhalten. Auch im Vorfeld lief die Kommunikation reibungslos. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut ausgestattet, auch was Küchenutensilien angeht. Es gibt auch eine Spül- und eine Waschmaschine. In der Wohnung war alles sauber und gut möbliert, sie ist aber ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen. Von der Dachterrasse hat man einen schönen Blick über Berge und Stadt und kann im Sonnenuntergang zu Abend essen. Die Terrasse ist über Aufzug und Treppenhaus zu erreichen, es gibt aber auch einen Balkon. Die Unterkunft liegt in einem Wohnviertel eine gute Viertelstunde zu Fuß vom Stadtzentrum entfernt, alternativ fährt ein Bus. Es gibt einige Lebensmittelgeschäfte in der Nähe sowie ein Einkaufszentrum ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Das Krankenhaus liegt nur ein paar Blöcke entfernt, sodass man gelegentlich die Martinshörner hört.

Parfait !
Nous avons rencontré un propriétaire exceptionnel de gentillesse et d'arrangement. L'appartement est très spacieux, très propre et très bien situé avec le bus qui s'arrête à 2 pas pour aller à la gare. Le parking couvert pour la voiture dans l'immeuble en face est un vrai plus pour la tranquillité. Merci encore à Armando.
