"I honestly would not stay here again. I found it very difficult to get to and from the house and town. Taxis and jeepneys just wouldn't stop. The house and room were nice overall,fairly spacious and comfortable. There are so many dogs outside though, that like to bark very early in the morning. So it's hard to sleep in in the mornings. I would definitely pay more to stay closer to town and in a more quieter area of the mountainous city."

"Griffin Lodge is a SCAM!! We had a confirmed booking on this place for February 25-27, 2022, also paid online and that it is no refund for any cancellations or rebooking. When we arrived, the whole place was barricaded with bamboo fencing. "As soon as we arrived and so the room that they provided, which is not the room I booked, we immediately went out in search of a different place to stay. "Loved the buffet breakfast! Staff is amazing! Very kind and attentive to guests! I will note that 1 of the 3 rooms booked had an odd smell. They kindly sorted the situation and changed room. This location is also close to Robinson mall where the grocery store/any other shopping you need to do is located. You can easily find tricycles also there, but we instead chose to drive. We did not have an issue with parking although it spaces can be tight the security guards in the parking lot were very quick to assist! Awesome stay!"

"Camp John Hay has a wonderful history. My hotel is one of 3 on the site. My room had a balcony that faced due east with the sun greeting me every morning at 6am ish. Best part of the day. "
