「We had a fun stay at the Drury! Our room had an awesome view of the arch and the river. The staff was helpful and generous with advice. Breakfast was good and the dining area is huge. The only thing about staying downtown is it’s very, very quiet, not many amenities and within a few blocks you’ll see gorgeous abandoned buildings like Louis Sullivan’s beautiful Wainwright building. 」

「Drury might not be a luxury hotel, but it is the most generous and responsible hotel I have ever stayed with. This hotel really complies its aim to create happy customers. In my view, they do it much better than those 4-star and 5-star hotels. Drury offers not only free hot breakfast, but also simple hot dinner (though they called it “snack”). 「This is a great, clean and large hotel very near the Arch. As close as you can get to the Arch, actually. Lots of dining and drinking options within the hotel but limited on options for those outside of the hotel and nearby. But everything else is a quick uber away.」

「Wonderful hotel in a historic YMCA building downtown. First class interiors, art collection, ambiance, and rooms. The room was small but well appointed. Very quiet. All amenities (no microwave), including wonderful Italian coffee machine. We also had an amazing cocktail hour with the bartender in the lobby. He knows his craft very well. We’ll be starting here often in the future. 」
