The beds were comfy and the villa was situated in a quiet corner of the resort next to the woods. Had a raccoon appear at the patio door the first night; guessing that previous guests may have given it a handout. 「The place is amazing! Beautiful old home. Very well maintained. Modernized with AC and plenty of outlets. I can't say enough about how great this place is. Perfect bedroom and bathroom layouts. Roku TVs in all bedrooms! We almost never find that!! The owner was very responsive to any question we had. You can tell they have pride of ownership in this place. We didn't get to use the fire pit in the back, but we will next trip. It was an awesome experience. 」

「Wonderful stay at the Cottage Charm. Plenty of room for the four of us, everything was clean, the attention to detail was awesome. Every time I messaged the owner, I heard back very quick. We had no troubles finding the place, getting in, or with anything in the house. We would definitely stay here again and so should you!」

「My wife, daughter, dog and I had a wonderful stay at this farmhouse. It was clean, well kept, and exactly as advertised. Our 1yr old daughter loved all the animals around the farm, and our dog loved the big yard to run around in. Very close to both Starved Rock and Matthiessen, easy driving distance to both.Can't recommend this place enough. 」
