"This is my favorite place I’ve ever stayed. It’s a 300 year old Spanish hacienda. Beautiful. Well maintained grounds. Extremely helpful staff. Wonderful, daily breakfast included. All of this said, this is an old building. Do not expect modern amenities like an in room tv, coffee maker or fridge. Do expect an in room wood burning fireplace that the staff lights for you every night. Do expect a very very cool, old bar. Do not miss their opening night drink including a 3 song performance by an indigenous band. Do expect an excellent in house restaurant with not crazy prices. I just really, really love this place!"

This is a very convenient place to stay if you are wanting to head into Otovalo. The Araque area and San Pablo area are some of the nicest and friendliest places I have ever been to.
