A perfect stay

We really enjoyed our rental. The villa is very comfortable and well decorated. The complex's facilities (supermarket, swimming pools, etc.) are very suitable for the whole family. Charlie the owner is very responsive. We highly recommend!

Fantastic Villa

Charlie’s villa was excellent for our family of 5. The villa was beautiful and very well equipped. The complex was excellent with the pools and restaurants. I would especially recommend the family run restaurant on site for its excellent value. I will definitely look for an opportunity to return again. Thanks Charlie.

Great value, Lovely villa.

The property was very well equipped. Lots of extra little touches that you don’t expect. It was very comfortable. We did eat in for much of our holiday because it was so nice. Although we were a party of 6 ladies only one of us new how to use the cooker. ( the youngest) but that’s technology for you. We would definitely go again.

Villa Casa Monte

We have just spent a lovely 10 days in Villa Casa Monte, a spacious property with amazing views over treetops to the sea beyond. The house had everything we needed and in addition included use of the resort’s pools which were always buzzing but never crowded. Carvoeiro is a short taxi ride away or a 15-20 minute walk away down a steep hill to a sandy and usually busy beach. There are plenty of bars and restaurants in the town offering a wide variety of Portuguese, European and international dishes. We recommend Carvoeiro Tours for a boat trip to the stunning caves and we also had a fantastic day at Slide and Splash water park, just a few km away.

A real home from home

This is a beautiful house, really substantial and comfortable, with lots of little details just right. You can tell that it is the owner’s family holiday home as it is so well-equipped. All the things that can often be a bit dicey in a holiday let are excellent - good knives, linens, air con, WiFi, showers, plenty of cushions and books. It is well situated within the holiday village conveniently close to the little shop and the pool centre. The walking route down to the town beach is a steep hill - about 15 mins down but definitely about 20 mins up! For guests with any mobility issues, a car is a definite plus. Communication with the owner has been excellent throughout and he sorted the one issue that arose while we were there really promptly. Charlie was very considerate, keeping an eye on the news over possible flight delays (we were going home a couple of days after the UK air traffic control problems closed UK airspace) and offering a late check out or even possibly a return to the house if we were stranded. We weren’t much delayed in the end but very grateful for the kind offer. The property has parking and we were glad of the car for getting out and about - we had a day in the mountains, a day in Lagos, a couple of days at the beautiful Caneiros beach about ten minutes away where we winced at the cost of the sun beds but then decided it was worth it. The house is very true to the listing and you can feel confident that it will meet or exceed expectations.

A lovely relaxing break - would recommend to everyone

We’re on our way home from a lovely holiday in Casa Monte - we’ve had a fabulous time. The villa is really well located, 15mins walk from the town centre. It’s very private for those that want peace and quiet. The pools available for use are lovely, with a great cafe on site. The villa itself is perfectly equipped and very comfortable. Charles was a great host, and responded quickly and positively when we had a question. Thanks so much!

Une maison typique très bien située (épicerie à 50m, idem pour restaurants, piscines et mer) tout est étant à l’abri du bruit! Le propriétaire est très sympathique et répond très rapidement à nos demandes. Je recommande vivement !
