Staff was helpful and sorted a car rental issue and provided a fan. Here’s the thing, our unit is ‘tired’. It was clean enough (floors, bed, bathroom, cupboards) but walls are dirty/marked by years of use. Things like ledges, handles, baseboards had layers of grit. We purchased cleaning supplies and spent time daily to increase the cleanliness. The location, security and amenities were great although we watched guests clean the pool of debris daily. Would I stay there again or recommend… maybe… it would depend on the guest expectations and tolerance.

Walk to the beach! Easy drive to all things in Curacao. Quiet area. We stayed in Type F unit #11 3 bedrooms. Livingroom and patio furniture need to be updated as they are quite old with sagging wicker. Restaurant onsite and across the road were both good with friendly staff! Refreshing outdoor shower and pool for returning from beaches. Beautiful sunsets!!! I will definitely book here again!!!

Do not stay here. We were here for 8 nights and at least unit 9 was a complete dump. All the furniture was falling apart and the beds were some of the most uncomfortable beds I have slept on in my 44 years. There was construction every morning that would start around 6 a.m. until early afternoon. The furniture on the back porch and balcony were old plastic chairs and falling apart or really old wooden furniture with the cushions smelling like mold. The pool was not well taken care of and half the time I saw the people staying there cleaning the leafs and debris out of the pool. This place is not worth your money please find somewhere else to stay. Oh ya the lagoon part of the beach/ocean has standing sewage not far away that you can smell even if the wind is not blowing your way.

Nice place would stay again. The only strange thing was they charge for A/C. So we only ran it in the bedroom for 3 days and the bill was 6 dollars. You need a car at the West end of the Island. Restaurant menu is limited but fine. The restaurant across the street I would skip. TV didn't work but we enjoyed not having it. The onsite Dive shop was helpful. Beautiful views and we enjoyed our stay.

Relaxing and quiet place

It’s a relaxing place. We got everything we need in our apartment. We liked the pool and the proximity to the beach. The beds could have been more confortable. Overall we recommend this place.

Close to the beach and 2 places to eat. Peter was super fast at dealing with things and answering questions. Our AC unit stopped working and he had a new one installed in 2 days! Now that is customer service. Pool and grounds were very clean and safe. I would return.

Beautiful resort w/perfect beach just steps away!

This was our first time to Curacao and we loved staying at the Lagoon Ocean Resort. It is a perfect location away from the busy capital, cruise ship passengers, and other tourists. The 3 bedroom bungalow was perfect size. We had a beautiful view of the lagoon/ocean with a patio and balcony. The many tropical birds and friendly iguanas visited the area around our bungalow, making it feel like we were in a tropical rain forest. We visited many beaches north of the lagoon, however we snorkeled in the lagoon many times and saw sea turtles, eels and many tropical fish. The swimming pool looked very nice, however we spent all our time at the beach. We ate at the resort restaurant several nights, and my favorite was the pumpkin pancakes and frozen pina coladas. We also ate at the restaurant across the street several nights, and loved their fish & chips. I will absolutely be staying at the Lagoon Ocean Resort on my next trip back to Curacao next year.

I will absolutely be staying at the Lagoon Ocean Resort on my next trip back to Curacao, and we plan on making this a yearly trip.

The property was well kept and staff was very good.two excellent restaurants one on property one within walking distance. View was wonderful. Great for snorkeling. Only thing i didnt care fòr was very slippery floors if wet. Shower was very very slippery. But i would let stop me from giving it a great review. I would stay again.
