“This was a repeat visit to San Clemente, but the best property we’ve enjoyed. The “cottage” was adorable and the amenities beyond expectations. The bed and bath linens were terrific and the kitchen was very well equipped. The Kuerig, with supplied pods, was a treat as were the laundry facilities, again with necessities furnished.Jennifer, the manager was amazing. She was so willing to help and a joy to meet and talk to.We will definitely be back.”

“Thank you for sharing your property with us. We come to Orange County 4-5 times a year to visit our daughter. We enjoy staying at a property instead of hotel. This property by far was our favorite. Walking distance to the bay, cafes, restaurants, grocery store, and beach. The beds were very comfortable, water pressure was wonderful, and kitchen was fabulous. It really felt like home. “We booked this house last minute for our fall break trip. It was great for so many reasons!! They allowed dogs, was one house off the sand, had great views of the beach/ocean/jetty from the patio, easy access to grocery and food options, plus there was a fire pit, sauna, and hot tub! The house was clean and well stocked with all the basic amenities. Drew the owner was very communicative and friendly. ”

“A lovely well equipped old Balboa Island cottage. Tastefully furnished. The bathroom is downstairs whereas the two bedrooms are upstairs. The location is near the main streets on the Island - Marine Ave and Park Ave. I would prefer to stay again at the quieter end of the Island Near the Ferry. ”

“Me and my family love this beach cottage! We had rented it back in 2018 and had a great time so we returned this year and will return again in the future. The cottage is right on the sand, 2 blocks down from the boardwalk, so you can easily walk or ride a bike to get to the pier or any of the many shops and restaurants. The only issues we had were: 1. The owner showed up and walked right into the apartment, where my daughter and grand children were getting ready for lunch, without knocking or……

“This home was very beautiful and met the needs of our family who flew into the area for a family memorial service, Frustrations with no remote for main tv, continual problem with lock on master bedroom, old dog poop in yard, very loud birthday party next door until 1 am Sat. night were some problems that detracted from our overall stay in this home. Host was communicative, and helpful most of the time. Overall we enjoyed our time here. It just could have been better if someone had made sure……

“Loved this cottage! It was exactly as described, close to the beach and walking distance to shopping and restaurants. We rented bikes at Newport Pier, about 4 blocks from the house. They do have a small garage but we parked on the street. My husband and I stayed with our 2 teenage kids.”

Between the grill with propane ready to go and the modern appliances and the well equipped kitchen,dining in was east and fun. Comfy beds, laundry access, and AC unit were great.
