We have rented from Vacasa and stayed in this unit (Ka'anapali shores 361) before and never experienced the difficulties we faced this year. We arrived at the hotel at 3:10 with $200 worth of groceries. Although the room was cleaned and vacant, we were not allowed entry until 4:00. When 4:00 came, our entry code would not work and we had to call for help. After a long day, I prepared dinner. When I went to remove our dinner from the oven, there we no potholders. When I went to wash the pan, there was no dish soap (so I had to you Softsoap Hand Soap which didn't work.) By now I am so frustrated I decided to take a bath, but there was no stopper for the tub. After my shower, there was no bathmat! What's going on! In the mean time, my husband went out on the lanai and the screen door falls off! We spoke with Vacasa a day later, and they provided some of the missing items but no all. I later learned this unit is on the market and believe it is not being given the time and attention it deserves. It is looking very tired and worn. Other than for the beautiful view, I would not rent this unit again.
