"The home was very clean and spacious to be a smaller home. The outbuilding was a great addition for our family so we had plenty of room to spread out. The environment was peaceful and relaxing. The neighbors were super nice, and were actually one of the reasons we enjoyed our trip so much. We all caught fish and had a great time just getting back to nature. The kids learned alot and we saw plenty of wildlife in the back yard, including an armadillo! The host was great, she kept us informed of anything that was going on with the rental ahead of time and also kept us up to date on festivities and attractions in the area. The kitchen was nice but watch the chairs they aren't the most comfortable and they surprise you with a dip when you sit. It would have been handy to have a toaster, but besides that it was great. The local town was small, but full of kind people. While there we ate at the local Taste of the South Restaurant, the food was amazing and the staff were excellent. You could truy tell customer service was very important to them, which made my day, customer service has suffered and it is refreshing to see a businesses that still care about more than the almighty . We also ventured out to a place called Fast Freddies. Don't let the outside fool you, it is a neat little store with a nice restaurant that served some of the biggest, best tasting burgers I've seen or ate in years. Staff were great. Definitely worth the trip and would love to to stay here again"

"We loved our stay here. The house has everything we needed and more. We loved hanging out on the dock and having a Lilly pad in the lake. The living room and bedrooms are very nice as well. We hope to come back here again."

"The house was perfect for the number of guests we had. I brought my own boat and it was really nice to be able to leave it in a cover dock slip all week. The kids had a blast fishing and swiming from the dock."
