“This is an absolute amazing place to stay if you are trying to get away! My family and friends have been getting together to go hunting every Thanksgiving weekend for the last 12 years and this is by far the best place we've ever stayed. It gives the feeling of getting away while still ensuring a familiar home notion. The pool table is a fun addition for entertainment. The kitchen is furnished and we cooked breakfast and dinners everyday. This is place is super popular so if you get the chance……

“Selfishly I don't want to give a good review so it is available for us whenever we want it. Two hours after we got there a huge storm came through and knocked the power out. They were very responsive and kept us up to date when the power was going to be back on. We were very appreciative of that.”

“Loved our stay in this beautiful home. Our favorite part was the hot tub 😁. Very quiet neighborhood and relaxing. The house was very clean just needed to be dusted though. Could use some curtains or blinds though for a little privacy. But all in all it was wonderful. Would book it again for sure 😁. John is a very nice guy and fast to respond. The batteries were dead in the lock to get in the house when we arrived and we contacted john and he was to the house in 6min to let us in.”

“This house was very nice and clean, and in a quiet neighborhood. The location was close to Hartwick Pines, canoeing, bars & restaurants. Very nice place and the host was quick to respond.”

“Had a great time on Spider Lake at this large and very clean property. The hill down to the lake (or rather up hill to the house) was a bit challenging for some but was worth the climb every time! The host provided wood for fires on his patio firepit and down by the beach. He also provided ideas for things to do around the area and he was spot on! The local restaurant he recommended was great and the pontoon rentals and river tubing rentals were very accommodating. The house offers many things……

“This property served myself and my girlfriend perfectly for a little getaway! The home itself was awesome and cozy, the area was quiet which was enjoyable, the drive to Traverse City wasn’t bad at all if you’re looking for more to do. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to make our own meals, and the Fire Lake Inn food was very delicious for eating out of the home. The only two complaints I could possibly have (nitpicking here) were that the Heat/AC unit was pretty noisy at……

“The cabin is very nice and clean with lots of space for a small group. The only critiques I have are the bathroom seems to have some plumbing issues as the water pressure difference between the bathroom and kitchen is very noticeable, but it is still functional so no big deal. The cabin is very close to other properties, but we stayed in the late winter/early spring so no one was around. It is very very close to a boat launch for Higgins lake (really within walking), very clean and comfortable……

“This was a perfect cabin for our weekend family getaway. My kids loves the bunk beds and the fact they had their own room. Beds were comfortable and the grey blankets were super soft and cozy to snuggle up in! The cabin is in a great location and was super easy to find. It is in a quiet neighborhood and we had a wonderful view of the lake from the front windows. Ken and Angelina were fantastic hosts and so easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again!”
